“Great building - staff lacking”
2 GPS's could not find this hotel, so we parked 3 blocks from hotel and started walking. Good that I had already decided that it was not worth moving the car, since clerk told us we didn't need parking. No wi-fi, and could not get dial up to work. Front desk provided info book of town, but did not want to help further.
“A cozy, comfortable, perfect placed hotel!”
The hotel was a touch hard to find arriving by train, but the building itself was fabulous! The rooms are very comfortable, the room service was fast with courteous attendants, and the front desk personnel were very friendly/helpful. The location once there was great. The location to the bull fighting ring, various bodegas, and the historic downtown is perfect!
“Rude staff”
Good location and nice rooms, but service was truly awful. I paid extra for an indoor car parking space (as it was 37 degrees) but was only given an outside space and not offered a refund on my perpaid parking. Special key required for the safe but getting it from reception was an ordeal. No wireless internet as advertised, we were offered cable internet so long as we had our own cable!!! Staff were rude from start to finish.
“average”
This hotel was situated in a fairly good location for exploring Jerez and did have the advantage of parking on site however while on the surface it seemed a good four star beyond reception things failed somewhat. Check in itself was functional but there was no effort at a welcome smile let alone a few words - granted our spainish is basic but we could have managed a few words and a smile is universal. On reaching our floor we were met with a wall of heat on stepping out of the lift as it appears only the reception is airconditioned - not a problem so long as room airconditioned, except it wasn't working. Also you had to go back to reception to get the key for the safe - another unfriendly experience. Given the reception experience neither of us were particularly keen to volunteer to complain about the airconditioning. Given we were there 3 nights and the rooms were made up each day we had no doubt staff were aware of the problem - shouldn't have been left unattended. While the room was billed as having wireless access it was in fact cable only access which was unsuitable for the device I wished to use. There was a spa facility however this was in a different building in the hotel grounds so we did not use it and cant comment on it. The rooms were well cleaned and presented and quite spacious so its unfortunate that the air-con didnt work and that the staff werent quite as inviting as may have been
“Would definitely use this hotel again”
Well situated. Room excellent. Problem in summer - foyer and passage / elevator badly need ventilation.
“Extremely nice hotel”
We stayed in 5-6 different hotels while in Spain, this one was exceptional. Clean, modern, comfortable, roomy and reasonable. Great spa also, HIGHLY recommended.
“Quiet time in Jerez”
Just looking for a quiet weekend? Jerez is your spot. Not too much to do, but a quiet and small Spanish city can provide enough for a few days. The hotel is centrally located, an easy taxi ride from the train, has a nice little restaurant/bar with everything for the less demanding palate. Don't go looking for excitement, but definitely a relaxing spot.
“es sind nur 10 Min. Fußweg zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten”
die Zimmerausstattung ist elegant, das Bad schön groß un neu, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
“Hotel super”
Hotel très confortable, bien situé (proche du centre ville et de l'école d'Art Equestre). De très belles chambres, un accès à internet gratuit et un accueil en français.
“Sehr komfortables Hotel - Gerne wieder”
Geräumige Zimmer, englischsprachiges Personal, kostenloser Internetzugang in der Lobby.
