The location was great and the views of the beach from balcony amazing. The bathroom has been renovated but the bed was uncomfortable and towels too small.

The Hotel Puertobahia is great hotel to spend a few days relaxing. The amenities are wonderful and the rooms comfortable. Buffet breakfast had a good selection of items at a reasonable price. The only negative comment I will make is that the reception area seems to have a lot of staff standing chatting with each while the guest line up gets longer.

AC didn’t work all night . We opened the balcony and the loud noises wouldnt let us have a nice sleep. We told the front desk but i don’t think they care it is a Beach front property, 5€ parking your car at the hotel. They have Amazing restaurants around and a mini golf for little kids .

Checkin was a disaster. It took close to an hour. The pictures of the room far from what is seen in the website. Rooms are very small and has a third bed stored in the wall that really occupies space. The only nice was the breakfast. We try to cancel the second night and was not possible due to EXPEDIA "rules" We prefer to move anyway so we checked out after the first night.

Magnificent - Punches way over it's 3 Star rating
Simply wonderful place, stunning views from the balcony, Excellent shower room and great Aircon. We travel for multi holidays each year and this is one of the best holidays and venues we have had for years. Prefect position for the Promenade and the superb beach. We will most definitely be back to this most wonderful venue. If you want a relaxing beach holiday, look no further.

Well located close to the beach. The first room they gave us smelled like smoke and had twin beds, so we asked for a change and they accomodated us.

A very nice stay
Nice hotel. In very good condition. Beside the beach. Strongly recommended. Please note that a lot of rooms are facing due north. The south and sea view rooms are better.

Really good hotel
What a surprise! Beautifully refurbished hotel, with grand marble reception area, lounge and bar. Large airconditioned rooms with small balcony overlooking the bay. Very large restaurant buffet, with an excellent choice of good quality food and drink, at both dinner and breakfast, which surpassed the 4 star hotel of our previous night, by far. Free car park and WiFi. Friendly, helpful staff, but little English.

The property is really nice. A great resort. The 3-person room was tiny. The "ocean-view" we had was not a reality. If you stretched from the balcony you could see the edge of the water. Good for the price overall. I would stay here again as a couple but never do the 3 person room again.

Great sea view!
We loved our stay at this hotel - the staff, the rooms, breakfast and best of all the view from our balcony. Be sure to pay the extra for a sea view room! It was easy to get the bus into the old town and the train to Cadiz or Jerez. We had a great time.

Hotel Bohia in Santa Maria the best
The site, the view, the service and the rooms make The Hotel Puerto Bahia and spa remarkable good selection in Puerto de Santa Maria. It is very close to Cadiz and also to Jerez de La Frontera. One of the most interesting aspects is the possibility of renting bicycles just at the entrance of the Hotel and to have the opportunity to go around the beach. We enjoy every aspect of the Hotel and strongly recommend Hotel Puerto Bahia to stay .

The pool area was nice and with an approximate 10-15 minute walk you could reach 2 restaurants and a supermarket. As well there was a free bus that took you to the city centre and that left at 9:35 from the roundabout at the hotel entrance There is a very good buffet breakfast and ample parking.

Bring a passport
There was no mention that a passport was required to check in, the hotel would not let us check in without it. We had to take two cabs and spend most of our day going to Rota to get the local police to allow us to stay at the hotel. In essence I wasted an entire vacation day securing my hotel room.
