My husband, baby and I went to Paris for a long weekend/our anniversary. The staff speaks fairly decent english, definitely enough to help us out, and were very friendly. If you are European, the rooms here will be of no surprise to you, but for Americans, the "tight quarters" can be a little frustrating, especially if you have children. We live in Germany, so were pretty used to it. BUT, the room was very clean, has air-conditioning, and was smoke-free and quiet.
The location is great, about 3-4 miles from Paris. It's a 10 minute walk to the RER station, which will take you right to downtown, and then you're not paying all the outrageous hotel prices that are in the city.
There is also a little convenient store around the corner to get drinks and snacks. Overall, very pleased!
