This is our third time back to Pueblo Bonito Pacifica. They have done some nice clean up and upgrades since the hurricane. It is in great shape. The staff were friendly and so pleasant as always. We saw the same staff after several years as they seem to really love their employer. The food remains fresh and high quality and the drinks flow upon request. This is a great place to relax and avoid kiddos if you desire such a venue. he pool is clean, adequately warm and comfortable. It remains close enough to enjoy town for a bit but far enough away to have your own little oasis. We recommend going up to La Frida for a special dinner at Sunset-it remains romantic and a very upscale meal worth the minor surcharge. We will be going back again next year owing to the consistent quality of this place and how well it helps us recharge.
We had a wonderful time! We were so content and relaxed at the resort that it took us four days to venture off the property. We found the marina area and shopping district to be much like any other Mexican port.

Hotel was nicely appointed with comfortable, modern rooms. Stayed in the basic room and had a great view of pool and ocean even from 2nd floor. Hotel has a chic, loungy feel.
Hotel is right on the beach. Lots of hotties hang out at this hotel too. Definitely a younger, hip crowd, which I enjoyed. There is a dj playing dance music at the pool all the time. Did not disturb my sleep at all, even Friday night. Big plus: it's close enough to the marina to walk to the shops and restaurants without needing a taxi.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Utilized the concierge, big help.
AC in rooms was great, especially after walking downtown.
Cons: some things are way overpriced, such as minibar (didn't use) and wifi (didn't use). The man who restocks the minibar kind of barged in our room unannounced on day one, but in fairness, it was bc they let us check in early and he hadn't yet inventoried the bar. They sure don't play about the minibar there!
Overall, very positive experience. Nice atmosphere and good location.
"Great Hotel - lots of good - a few things to know."
The hotel ans staff are fantastic. The food is improved and great. The drinks fabulous. The only thing I didn't really like is that they let folks from Playa Grande and Solmar use their pools now. I know the Hurricane Odile damaged all three properties, but this is overloading Grand Solmar Pools. I also know GS has 3 pools that were destroyed. If you didn't get a chair early, you didn't get a chair. Drinks and food take a lot longer with the over-load too. It went from relaxing and quiet to kid crazy and over loaded. The hotel itself makes up for the pools not being what they used to be. Just know that if you are going for the relaxing pool experience you may miss what Grand Solmar used to be.
This was our 2nd trip to the Sheraton, they re-opened 3 weeks earlier from the hurricane, they were still grooming the grounds and planting new landscaping. Even with all that going on the staff was great, the rooms were great, food and restaurants were good, and the pools and beach were soothing to the soul! We will be going back!!!
My husband and I spent a week at El Nido, we enjoyed our time time there immmensely! The owners couldn't have been nicer! Tasty, authentic breakfast were prepared and served each day...
We were lucky to get the palapa with the private hottub...unfortunately four out of the six nights the tub was under repair, but the the two days we were able to use it...were heavenly! The beauty and up keep of the grounds were remarkable! Would highly reccommend this hotel- a little nest up high!
This is a great location very close to downtown and the beaches. Also, there is a great restaurant just outside the lobby that we ate breakfast at 3 times while there. We would definitely love to stay here again.
