Beautiful environment ... Excellent staff

Posted 09-Jul-2015
My friend and I stayed a few nights and enjoyed exploring the many attractions in the region and then returned to walk through the grounds every late afternoon. Drinks on the terrace with heaters and blankets made for a tranquil transition to the evening. Swimming in the cool night air looking up to the stars surrounded by a sub tropical canopy was my highlight.

We'd love to come back! Food and service were excellent, close to town centre and the beach on very peaceful setting.

Where the forest meets the sea.

Posted 16-Jun-2015
Pros: A secluded yet engaging spot, where the pool is a few steps away from the the drinks and recreation facilities, a place to read a book and relax.
Location: Byron central is just around the corner.
Beautifully situated in a rain forest surrounding, with real nature sounds and smells.

Perfect honeymoon!

Posted 21-Apr-2015
Pros: Everything!!
Location: Short drive into town, close to Tallows Beach. 40 minute drive to Brunswick Heads.
The Byron is an amazing place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is absolutely delicious but most of all, the apartments and hotel itself is incredible. The rainforest surrounding the property is magical and the lovely Tallows Beach is walking distance :) Definitely have a cocktail (or two) during happy hour, while sitting on the deck!

High quality resort

Posted 14-Apr-2015
One of the best resorts in Australia. Beautiful rainforest surrounds. 10 min walk through scrub to Tallows beach. Great happy hour on the verandah surrounding pool area. Water Lily's in adjacent creek and lake. Dinner was good. Breakfast buffet looked okay but expensive at $39 pp. Short 4km drive into downtown Byron Bay

Surrounded by nature

Posted 08-Apr-2015 on Wotif
Pros: The suite had everything included, yet was very elegant and surrounded by nature... loved the screened balconies!
Cons: Nothing... I couldn't fault anything!
Location: Close to a beautiful beach and also very close to Byron Bay with it's wonderful cafe culture and the Bluesfest at Easter
Absolutely loved everything about Byron at Bryon Resort and Spa! The suite was beautiful with a Japanese feel and surrounded by nature. The front and rear balconies were fully screened - a lovely tranquil place to sit and enjoy a drink. Facilities were excellent, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and the spa was devine! We also very much enjoyed the boardwalks through the wetland. I would recommend this resort without hesitation: I will definitely be going back, it was worth every cent!!

Living in the rainforest

Posted 03-Apr-2015 on Wotif
Pros: Relatively quiet, though could sometimes hear traffic. Staff were all friendly, helpful and happy.
Cons: Some furniture needs replacing as showing age and wear
Location: Close to Byron and all it offers.
Short 2 night stay for some business meetings in the vicinity, the location was fairly central but if you don't like living in the bush, you may not like it.
