All reasonable for the price. Good kitchenette but no room to eat inside. A bit small for three adults. They charge 2 percent extra for use of credit card which does not happen anywhere else.

A clean, quiet, basic motel room a few hundred meters from the ocean. Small kitchenette with some supplies. Good lighting. Check-in at other motel next door. Pricey, but that's Byron Bay.

We were aware that the accommodation would be basic so our expectations were not high. The property was in a really great spot so on balance we were happy and spent the money on shopping and eating out!!

Had noisy neighbours making lots of noise till 3am. A very down market motel. Had to check in at another property and the checkin person was off hand. Bed was too soft and gave me a sore back. Two star rating is about right. Wouldn't stay here again. On a positive side, the location is good.

The Hibiscus Motel has a wonderful comfortable bed and chairs. It is close to everything you need including fabulous breakfasts and good coffee. Byron Bay is always very busy so it is good to have a quiet little hideaway to enjoy a quiet moment. Plus thier giant TV with Foxtel is great for watching Sport or catching up on the local news.

This motel is in a great location and has all the room for a family staying. Plenty of beds and furniture it is not crowded. Excellent place to walk across the road for coffee in the morning and a quick walk up the street to be on the beach! Only downside is the accommodation is on the older side and only air conditioning in the living room.

Toiletries good, fridge and other household materials great. The Receptionist was great and was knowledgeable and helpful. Good car parking. The hotel environment was not like an hotel. The window air conditioner was noisy. The major unsafe item is the shower exit. We knocked our foot against the lower shower cubicle. It is unsafe

The location of this property is great. It was in walking distance to the beach as well as town. There was only one window which was in the main living area and overlooked the parking lot. Because we utilized the sofa bed hit was hard to have the curtain open and made it very dark. But time in the unit was limited so it wasn't that big a deal.

Excellent, clean, spacious and comfortable motel! Having parking included was a blessing, as was being so walkable from the beach. Definitely recommend. And the staff at Waves were so nice and accommodating, it really made our visit!
