Close to town, shopping, beach etc.

Posted 08-Feb-2015
Pros: Location, friendly staff
Cons: Room and amenities
Ok. Reasonably clean rooms, close to town, shopping and beach etc. The room am entities are somewhat dated (stained plastic shower curtains etc), probably a 3.5 star, not a 4.

In the heart of Byron Bay

Posted 23-Nov-2014
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Could consider lovely oil scents to compensate for the mustiness of the carpet (which invariably occurs for any property near the beachfront over time
Location: The beach, the Byron hinterland, the gift shops etc
From a very good location in the Bay Lane away from the busy thoroughfare of the Byron Bay's town centre, the hotel has good undercover car parking, pleasant reception staff, washing amenities, proximity to the beach, cafes and restaurants which suited us well for a short weekend stay. The room we've stayed in had the dated feel from the late 1980's but with ample space, good amenities and views to the beachfront. From our experience alone, the hotel should highlight what Byon Bay can offer at the moderate to high end of travel for couples and families.
