No A/C in Hot Room
Location was very convenient to the beach, the market, the strip and the Tesla SuperCharger station. Overall the stay was OK.Very efficient he kin and courteous staff. The property room looked much better in the picture. The furniture could use an update a long time ago.dust behind dressers, cracks along the tub, and outdated a/c system. It got hot in the room even with the heater off and reported the front desk. They could not turn on the a/c and asked me to open the windows at night. Could not do that either because the Air Quality Index was really bad. So we had a quite uncomfortable night sleep. Would not stay here again even for the low nightly rates.

Much better second time around
This is my second stay at this hotel and I'm glad to say that the room was in much better condition than the previous room. The last room had some large gaps in the shower tub where water would get behind and some of the fixtures were loose and very worn. This room was still dated, but was in much better condition overall. Still not thrilled about the very expensive breakfast for what you get but there is plenty of other places to eat at including a very convenient Marketplace in Save Zone. There is also an excellent Thai massage right across the street.

Great place.. but some cosmetic distactions
I really wanted to give very high feedback for this hotel, but unfortunately there were things not par with other hotels. First of all, I did enjoy my stay at the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly. I would certainly stay there again. My observations: 1) the room was very hot, particularly at night. There's a thermostat on the wall that didn't seem to do anything. The blower fan speed was on a separate console in the nightstand. I did not immediately locate it. There is a separate hidden module in the closet and I brought that down to about 20 degrees but the room would still not cool. The thermostat was reading 25 and 26 degrees Celsius which is rather warm. I ended up opening the windows to let the cool air in but also the sounds of the city too, which wasn't entirely bad but not ideal for sleeping. 2) the lock on the deadbolt would not turn I had to slowly turn the knob in order to get it to lock. It feels like the mechanism inside is stripped or worn off. This is clearly a maintenance issue. 3) the bathroom shower is need of calking. there was large gap between the tub and the wall. Water leaking inside the wall can cause all kinds of mold problems. I Breakfast was ridiculously expensive for what you get...see photos GOOD Fantastic view on either side of the building from the 10th floor and up. Very pleasant stay Fantastic location it seems like it's 5 minutes away from everything you want to do

This is an old hotel with a new name. My non-smoking room smelled of smoke on the second day. They said they couldn't change the room because they said the hotel was full; it wasn't. There were flies in the room from the drain in the bathroom. There was mold in the ceiling in the bathroom. There were holes in the sheets. Stay somewhere else.

The Hotel is pretty old.
The hotel is pretty old. Need to update some of furniture. It is located top of the shopping mall. The wifi signal is so weak could not able to use at all. in addition, the bed is too firm.

Nice hotel a block from the beach
It was WAYYYY nicer than I expected, especially for the price. There was a western bathroom!! With a bathtub!!! Those are so hard to find in Korea! It was a really large room. There's a balcony. The lobby us on the 9th floor and floors 10 and up are rooms with balconies and great views

It turns out that no one knew there was loud and aggravating and annoying construction going on onsite. When I contacted hotels.com their attitude was basically, "sorry~". I was very very disappointed in hotels.com for not reaching out to me. It was a horrible terrible experience.

it wasn't exceptionally good but the hotel is very accessible to places of interest. although there were problems with the toilet and the wifi connection, the staff were very helpful and promptly attend to customers' needs.

Great hotel for Haeundae
This was my second time staying at the hotel. The staff are very professional, the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the hotel had easy access to a lot of interesting nightlife areas as well as the beach!

An enviromental hotel which provide no air con.
Feeling hot when came back to hotel. You have to ask for a fan when you feel hot. Hot water supply was not sufficient at night. Hotel's safety is also an issue as the lift can direct access to guest room on the ground floor and the front desk is on the 9th floor.

Good location but outdated.
Located right next to the beach (2 minute walk). But the facilities is outdated. The mini bar items are pathetic; there are so many convenient stores in nearby neighbor BUT they still charge you for their items. And they cannot even have all items available, we have to let the front desk know items missing to make sure we don't get scam for. The balcony is a good lookout but only 5 degree of vantage point to the beach since most frontage are blocked by other taller building. But the size of the room was pretty good.

For the first time staying in hotel, we had to beg for more AirCon. This hotel has a control of AC. Even if there is a temperature control in the room, hotel has the "ultimate control" of the room AC. Depending on the number of guest of the room, gender and nationality, it seemed like that they decided how much AC you need. Can you believe it? My huz was at the front desk waiting for some help and a Chinese lady came to the front desk also to beg for more AC. After she left, the staff called the control room saying "One person, Chinese, woman". No matter how convenient the location is, we'll never go back.

Disappointing hotel
The lights have no central control. The AC has no remote control. The first room I got smelled of cigarettes. I called the clerk. He gave me an odd face and then agreed to switch to another room. The next room smelled only of dust, but it was much better. The minibar offers you two bottles of water for free every day. Since it was among the rest of the expensive stuff, I realized those bottles were free only after 2 days. I wanted to store some stuff in the refrigerator, and it was full of leaking water and almost no space was left for me. The stuff barely knows English, and wasn't to much of help when I asked what should I do in Busan. The keys are actually... keys (not a card).

Very dated and awful service
Was not impressed at all with this hotel! I arrived around midday and asked about possibility of early check in as I had meetings all day. Was told definitely not as no rooms available, despite being one hour after check out. When I asked if there was ANYTHING I could have just to change clothes they offered a tiny toilet cubicle. Needless to say I looked like I had slept in a suitcase all day. The following day I met a colleague and asked if we could use the meeting room. We were told no as it was closed. We asked if we could pay to use it. They said no as it was closed. Could we sit in the restaurant which was closed just for an hour or so. Not allowed. Is there a bar? No but I can go to a cafe across the seat! Very helpful. Rooms are tired, dated and shabby. Breakfast was VERY expensive and unpleasant even with a hangover. All in all avoid like the plague! Oh plus side is it is a short walk from a very pleasant beach where there are lots of very nice hotels.

Pretty close to the beach, over a shopping center, lots of eateries around. Try to get a room on the ocean side (which you will only see through the other buildings, but it's still a nice view) and relax on the balcony.

It was pretty nice, the staff was friendly and the room was a decent size, and very clean. From the balcony you could see the beach, and at night we saw some fireworks. The wifi in the room was pretty good, and the tv was updated, it was bigger than we expected. The lobby had adaptors that we could borrow, and it was perfect. I would stay again if we came back to Busan.

Great Location but overrated and dissapointing
Hotel Riveria is in a great location to food, movies, the beach and shopping. However, the wifi is subpar and barely works at times, the shower is small and outdated, my bed had bed bugs with someone elses hair in the sheets, i noticed old blood on one of the towels and on the comforter, the room doesn't come with a microwave or iron and you have to request for an iron and take your food down to the lobby to microwave. The menu for food on room service is very limited and the room is outdated with a tv that you can't buy in stores anymore. The beds stated two double beds online which are usually two full size beds but they were only twin size mattresses another disappointment. Overall on a 1 to 5, I give this hotel a 2.5 only because of the location which is awesome a mall is literally a 45 sec walk to include about 20 restaurants not to mention the hotel is on top of other restaurants and a shopping center but for the price of $118 a night had I known i would've just spent $150 to rest and relax in a clean enviroment with more efficient internet.

The room was clean. There was a tub. Small TV. Mountain view is better than ocean view, because there are too many other hotels between ocean and this hotel. Location was good, though, because it is an easy walk to the main transit street where the Pusan city tour bus stops, but also only a short walk to the beach. The staff seemed to speak English well, though I used Korean. Skip the "American Breakfast", if possible. (Not worth it.) Overall it was comfortable.

Good location. Room was a little small. A/C was broken during my stay and they neglected to tell me until I had to call at 10pm to ask how to work the thermostat. At least they brought a fan right up. Definitly stayed at better hotels and it was ok for price but don't think I will be staying again.

Overall pretty good stay in the hotel though quite old but room is still clean and comfort. Good location I between the subway station and to the beach just 3-5 min walk. Lot of eateries around and easy to get around by subway, bus or train.

Great Location
Close to shops and MRT. Worthwhile to stroll along Haeundea Beach which is mins from hotel in the evening as there are interesting entertainments , etc. Take the MRT to other places in Busan is easy.
