Good hotel to stay at

Posted 01-Oct-2014
Pros: Clean rooms, comfortable beds and breafast.
Cons: Bananas
Location: We were just traveling thru to Idaho and stayed one night.
The beds are comfortable and the room was clean. That is what we are concerned about when we travel. The area is also nice and seems safe. We will stay again as we go thru that area.

Pros: Clean, affordable, and quiet
Cons: The continental breakfast overall was good, but would have been even better if there was some sausage or bacon.
We had a nice stay at the Rory and Ryan. My boys loved the pool and especially the jacuzzi. We would recommend anyone traveling to Burns to stay there.

Road Trip

Posted 27-Aug-2014
Pros: Great location and a good value.
Cons: Have more ready for breakfast at a time.
Location: There is not much out side of the area. So this is it for places to stay and eat. There were other hotels but I would stay here again.
This place was a good value. We were headed to the coast and this was the halfway point. After traveling I was worried because we were not seeing much on the way there. We were very please when arriving because check in when quickly and the room was clean and comfortable. We order pizza from the local place that was advertised in the room, because they delivered. We were not disappointed. The food was great. The only issue we had was morning breakfast. We got there early thinking there would be more of a selection. There was a guy that came in just before us and ate everything. The hotel was trying to get restocked and things cooked as fast as they could but we had to leave so we were not able to stay for the breakfast.

Nice place to stay in Burns Oregon

Posted 21-Jul-2014
Pros: Roomy, quiet, no odors, nice bathroom, nice chair to relax in with foot stool, comfortabol bed, nice breakfast.
Cons: Update the TV but not a big deal
Location: Burns is a cowboy town with older and newer buildings. People are very down to earth and friendly. They have a good Ford garage as we had to use it.
It's is a long drive between Meridian, ID and Eugene, OR. This motel was a welcome sight with it's clean and quiet rooms and a view of the High country. There is a good restarunt within walking distance. The room had a good air conditioner which truly ran on a quiet low speed to keep us comfortable. Very happy with the room

Just So-So

Posted 16-Jul-2014
Pros: Cleanliness, location friendliness of the staff
Cons: Updated furnishings and better WIFI.
When we arrived, the day clerk and another employee were in the check-in parking area discussing the days unpleasant guests and employees at the end of their shift. Check in was flawless. I noticed our key card holder was marked "Expedia" and that concerned me because that is a sign that we "got a deal" (I worked for a major hotel chain in the past). We were placed in a room next to the housekeeping closet and above the laundry, obvious due to the conversation and noise. The room was clean but had a chemical smell. Everything worked well. The room needed to be updated to current standards (old school TV, lack of sufficient power outlets for computer equipment and no phone book. The internet was slow and spotty, at times we had no WIFI.

Very clean. A modern and updated facility.

Posted 12-Jul-2014
Location: Steens mountains, diamond craters, Pete French historic Round Barn.
A friendly greeting at front desk. Very pleased with the modern and clean facility. There is another Rory and Ryan's (Best Western) down the street so it was a bit confusing to know which Rory and Ryan's to go to.
