Will do for a one night stop.

Posted 23-Jul-2015
Pros: Location, amenities.
Cons: Appliances, check in process, choice of pillows.
Location: It is middle of nowhere. I guess there could be lot of backpacking, camping in National Forests nearby.
Location, location, location. The hotel is in Hines OR which is pretty much middle of nowhere. So if you find yourself on this road, this is not a bad choice. There are couple of other hotels in this town. This is a nice one and has a 24hr swimming pool (until 10PM for kids). It is quite clean but not sparkling. Pillows are too soft. All appliances including TV are a couple of generations old. Old A/C makes lot of noise but keeps the room cold. Our reservation was missing and the hotel check in person had to call Expedia and clear it up as we waited. I don't know who dropped the ball but something's not right. Breakfast is not exactly gourmet, or organic/healthy.

Nice Stop

Posted 23-Jul-2015
Pros: Quiet, clean, convenient.
Location: Not applicable.
The room was large and spacious. The very clean bathroom was tiny. The bed was very comfortable, but the dust ruffle was torn exposing the box spring. The staff was friendly and helpful. Their breakfast had fewer choices than metro areas but was very good. Our only "gripe" would be the plastic knife/fork/spoons were really light weight. We marked down the condition rating but wish we could make it a 3.8.

Very nice hotel with easy access

Posted 12-Jul-2015
Pros: Easy access, friendly staff and the pool area. The breakfast was really good.
Cons: Maintain the already high standards.
I stopped by for an overnight rest on my roadtrip to the West Coast. The hotel exceeded my expectations and is really good value for the money. The pool was excellent for my kids, while I was running on the nearby run-track before heading further West. My whole family had a very relaxing stay at the hotel.

Nice hotel.

Posted 12-Jul-2015
Pros: We liked the cleanliness and the ease of our evening check-in.
Cons: We would appreciate more covered parking.
The rooms and pool are clean. The staff is curteous. This hotel was perfect for our young family.

Comfortable hotel

Posted 22-Jun-2015
The hotel staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. It was fairly clean, but admittedly I am an OCD freak, so it's extremely difficult to exceed my expectations for cleanliness. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable, but the pillows left a little to be desired. I would definitely go there again, I would just bring my own pillow.

small town and dated hotel

Posted 20-Jun-2015
Pros: It was a place to stop and get out of the car
Cons: Try a little harder on the breakfast
Location: Not much, we settled for a Subway-because nothing else was open or looked worth stopping for-typical small town
nice staff, good sized pool-but it was a little lacking in a few areas. This was a stopoff, because we didn't want to drive anymore, but it is definitely a small town and older hotel. The pool and room were okay, but the AC was pretty noisy and had to work all night to keep the room close to comfortable. The kids adjoining room AC was much better. On a 2-week vacation, this was by far the weakest breakfast we saw, not much to choose from and in the 1/2 hr we scratched around looking for something to eat, no one came to replenish anything-slim pickins. Adequate motel if you need to stop somewhere, but it looks like the same owers also run a Best Western just down the road-maybe that is better?

Smelled terrible and unsafe.

Posted 19-Jun-2015
Room was booked and listed as non smoking. It smelled like an ashtray. Spoke to front desk clerk who advised it was a smoking room some time ago and they are unable to get the smoke smell out. I was concerned because they impose a $200.00 charge if you smoke in the room. Security lock was broken. Maid tried to enter the room without announcing as I was getting dressed. The swing bar was the only thing preventing her entry.

A little far out of town

Posted 24-May-2015
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast, and price reduction
Their breakfast is just all-American awful. Highly processed and refined. Coffee like water.

The Stay was great. Room was clean. The continental breakfast is a great bonus. The only very minor disappointment was a faint stink in the hotel common areas, that did not transfer to the rooms. I would certainly stay there again.
