We stayed at this hotel for my college reunion. My friend recommended several hotels close to where she lives and I'm glad we chose this one. We had a wonderful time. What I love about this hotel is that it's clean and has a quiet environment. Service is also amazing, the staff are friendly, helpful and courteous.
We were in a two bedroom apartment. The beds were comfy and bedrooms were spacious. We had access to a BBQ and an outdoor table for 6 (which we used). Kitchen only had one frying pan, and was lacking enough dishes and cutlery for everyone, but was better than not having one at all! Table for two inside, but could use another chair from outside to fit three or four. Pool was on the smaller side, but the kids enjoyed it nonetheless. Nice plants and landscaping. Grocery store and restaurants nearby (2 minute walk).
We got to the hotel not expecting much based on the reviews saying it was terrible and you'd want to check out after the first night. We walked in and was blasted with the air conditioning, which felt great. We had booked one queen bed to share, but they gave us 2 beds for no extra cost which was also great. Had some issues with the electrical but the hotel staff were very accommodating and helped us through it the entire time. The cleaning people came in everyday and made our beds, took out the trash, gave us new towels twice (in our week long stay). Room came with a blow dryer, a fridge, a microwave, and a TV.
I would recommend bringing shampoo with you and body wash. They provide shampoo conditioner mix and a bar of soap, but for 2 girls staying together the one bottle wasn't enough, the bars of soap were small. They may give you more upon request, but we never asked to make sure if they did or not.
We had 2 issues with the hotel. One being the electrical. Whenever we used the blow dryer or the microwave the power would shut off to the room. The staff were very friendly in trying to fix it. But in the end they couldn't figure out what the problem was so whenever we used one of these items we unplugged the air conditioner. It wasn't a big deal to us, but I thought I'd mention it in case it would bother someone else. The other issue was the shower. The shower head was kind of low. Im 5'10 and had to bend my head back to wash my hair, but again not really a big deal.

This hotel is currently undergoing some renovation out front which meant it is difficult to access the lobby and come and go out the motel apart from using a side very smelly alley behind a Chinese restaurant .apart from this the motel was very comfortable - clean large room with good beds and quiet. The best thing was we arrived very early in the morning in Vancouver from an overnight flight from Honolulu unshowered from a previous day's snorkelling tour and had no sleep so we were desperate for a room. Despite a normal 3 pm checkin they let us into a room earlier than this around 12 ish I think which was much appreciated.
Furnishings are pretty basic as is level of cleanliness. If you prefer to make your own meals when you are on the road this place has a full kitchen, although the cooking utensils (pots, spatulas...) are limited and very basic. Room is clean, bed is comfortable, overall cleanliness (especially in the bathroom) could be better but is manageable. There is no housekeeping (3 day stay), which is quite workable - not sure what happens if the stay is longer than 1 week.
