“Can't Beat the Price!”

We were in town for flight training and chose to stay here. For the price, this is a wonderful hotel! Our room was clean, the bed and pillows were extremely nice and SUPER comfortable (hotel just updated all of the beds on the premises) and the bathroom was big. Other than the brand new beds, the room was a little dated, but still an extremely pleasant stay. We'll definitely stay here again!

Area recommendations

All of Laughlin, particularly the Colorado Belle's microbrewery!

“Good place to stay!”

We went to stay at the River Palms for Thanksgiving. We have stayed here several times before and so far the only problem has been that there is no coffee in the room, which my husband grumbles about. This time was interesting, because I called the hotel directly to see about reservations for the night before Thanksgiving, and then Thanksgiving night, and they told me that there was no check-ins on Wednesday that week, and there was a 2 night minimum a night. So I said thank you for the information, and came to Expedia, where I was able to book Wednesday and Thursday nights, with the total for 2 night being less than the rate they quoted for one night. I do like staying at the River Palms. It is down at the far end of the casino row, with the only one past it being Harrah's. It is fairly easy to get around through the other casinos if you don't mind walking a bit, or there is a water taxi, or you can just drive down to the other end with little difficulty. I always ask for a river view room in the North Tower, as that is the best view. I did stay once in the South Tower and had a nice view of the pile of dirt leading up to the road level where the parking garage, so I know now to request the North Tower. I would recommend the River Palms.

“The buffet was great. The room left a lot to be desired. Maid needs to detail more.”

The hotel was nice but nothing special. The Riverside Hotel has everything going for it. Have not stayed in the hotel but there are lots of activities there. The Ramada Express is super.

“Laughlin trip”

Hotel itself was great, only drawback was the buffet in the hotel. It did not offer much of a selection or variety of food, the main selection was seafood and many in my party are non-seafood eaters, so need to have more food selections other then seafood, also do not eat at the Denney's located in the hotel, their service is very slow and it takes them a long time to wait on you even when they are not busy, which it was not busy when we came in and spoke to the manager about this the first night and got the same type of slow service the second time we were there, so do not eat at the Denney's in this hotel.

Saltgrass is the best place to go to have a steak dinner.

“Great place to rest over night. Can't beat the price for a week night.”

The Staff was very welcoming when we checked in at 10PM. Room was clean, but very plain. Beds were on the soft side. Nice view of the river. We took a late night stroll (11:30PM) down the "River walk" to another hotel. Felt very safe.

“Clean Casino Hotel”

Very clean and well run. The only downside...no restaurant, no breakfast.

Area recommendations

I don't know the city very well but it is mostly new and clean. We were only on Casino Dr. and It is well lit at night and we felt very safe.
