Nice hotel

Posted 21-May-2015
It was a nice and clean hotel. My room did smell extra purfumy. But wasn't too bad. The remote was an absolute pain to get to work. The buttons didn't seem to work well. It's a casino of course, so you have to expect to smell like smoke after walking through. But I didn't smell smoke in my room, only on me. If you have kids, don't let them run on the roof top by the pool with bare knees. 5 of the 10 kids that were in our party tripped and skinned their knees. My daughter's were so bad, blood was pooling up I get knees as we held her. Other than that it was a pretty good stay.

Nice hotel overlooking the Colorado river.

Posted 21-May-2015
Pros: Very nice room at a reasonable rate. Excellent buffet.
Location: Lots of Colorado river activities, and boating on lake a few miles north of Laughlin. Across the river is Bullhead City, AZ with grocery stores.
Stayed two nights after not being in Laughlin for about 30 years. Very comfortable room on 16th floor, close to river. Dinner buffet was very good, and included up to two margaritas, beers, or glasses of wine.

Not what I was expecting.

Posted 19-May-2015
So in a nut shell I arrived super late. Check in was a breeze went up to the room 16007. We were super tired so straight to bed we went woke up around 11 am went to the bathroom to take a shower dirty bathroom razor packages on the floor the shower curtain was stained with I hope was dried soap. My wife called me from the room and said the sheets where stained with chocolate in fact booth beds where the same stained. From previous occupant we stayed in a non smoking room but we had the aroma of smoke maybe from the next room smoking in the bathroom. Not a great expirence will think twice before renting a room here next time.

Great location by the river

Posted 18-May-2015
Pros: Close to river, pool, fitness center, tennis courts and great restaurant choices
Cons: Clean carpeting
Location: Close to river
Hotel Staff friendly and helpful. Gaming area open. Ate dinner at Vineyard Ristorante. Had to wait over 1 hour. Once seated, several tables were available and remained available when our meal was completed. Server needed to be reminded of our soup & salad. BBQ chicken pizza was so-so. More staff needs to be on shift during busy time. Carpeting in hallway on the floor, needs to be cleaned.

Cons: Customer service.
Had to argue for 15 minutes with desk that we didn't cancel our reservations. The lady who I think was in charge of check-in was rude and when I tried to show her my confirmation # she didn't want to see it because it was from third party. I booked seven rooms for two nights that I pre-paid at least a month before. I received e-mail two days before check-in day saying no need to do anything we were good to go. We where worried so we called hotel to make sure we were booked they told us we were. When I arrived my employee had been trying to get checked-in for I don't know how long and had just about given-up and was just going to pay for his own room. I jumped in the middle of it and after 15-20 minutes of arguing that I paid and didn't cancel she figured it out and left with-out a whoops or sorry.

Cigarette smell overwhelming, with bugs in my room

Posted 18-May-2015
Did not get what we signed up for, no river view and no non-smoking room. We had 4 large grasshopper looking bugs clinging to the drapes. Needless to say I had to convince my wife to stay in the room as she was instantly grossed out by the experience. There were numerous dead bugs along the track of the sliding door

Laughlin experience

Posted 18-May-2015
Pros: We enjoyed the view from our room.
Cons: Cleaner
The check in was good. We got to our room and there was no blankets on the bed. Also we noticed the floors were not vacuum and the bathroom floor was not cleaned.

One of the nicest cleanest hotels in Laughlin, NV

Posted 18-May-2015
The check in wasnt horribly long but wasn't quick. Check in clerk wasn't the happiest person but I had no issues. Most casinos offer free money to gamble for first timers, Aquarius did not. The room was bright, open and very clean. The pipes were loud in the room when your neighbors flushed or washed. Hotel does provide a hair dryer and iron with ironing board which isn't states under their accommodations. Smoke in the casino wasn't horrible for a non smoker. Outback was great. It is connected with the river walk so that was nice. Check out was faster then check in which kind sends a bad message but is appreciated when you have a long drive ahead going home. I would stay here again it was very nice.

It used to be 'The place to stay'

Posted 18-May-2015
Pros: Easy parking, friendliness of the cashier staff.
Cons: Requires to be brought up to expectations there are better hotels in Vegas giving better room rates.
Location: River Walk is now a 'No Go' area the horrible black flies are back.
It was just 'O.K'. We were disappointed to find how expensive it was to eat there, we have been going to Laughlin for over 15 years and always found it to be welcoming but we didn't feel welcome on this occasion. The buffet was rubbish, food looked like it had been put out the week before and the cutlery looked like it had been in constant use since the medieval times. Staff looked scruffy, a maintenance man was trying to carry out lighting repairs over a hot food station. The cafe was similar, poor food. Room was only just O.K. But it was sad that they charged 11.99 to use the wifi - these days it's free to use in most shopping malls. Would we go again, or recommend our friends- no way!!

Good room

Posted 18-May-2015
Check in an hour early they didn't question is just gave us a room. It was overlooking the pool with big windows which we like. The room was clean, but a little dated. When the neighbors use their water or flush the toilet not sure which there was a crazy vibrating sound in the wall. The room was clean, but a little dated. When the neighbors use their water or flush the toilet not sure which there was a crazy vibrating sound in the wall. Overall there were no files smells in the room was cleaned adequately and it didn't smell like smoke. So I would say about 80% of what you expect from a four-star hotel.
