Went to stay for the solar eclipse. Original reservation was through Expedia at $135/night for April 8-9. I called the hotel that I will be arriving April 7 instead of April 8 and to add a night. They said OK. I arrived on April 7 and was charged $250/night. They said because of the solar eclipse. Dishonorable price gouging. The rooms had bugs(I have a video of it moving but it wont upload). The locks were broken(security failure). Mold in the bathroom(health failure). The staff was friendly though.

Nothing special about this renovated old-style roadside motel. No breakfast. The door to the bathroom had been torn off its hinges. The bedsheets were recently stained. Even though the room was designated non-smoking, the small of stale cigarettes was distracting. And we were charged $361 for a two double-bed room fo two nights. Not recommended.
