“Motel with a Indoor pool...”

Description states they have a hot tub... they do not... Pool isn't heated... might as well jump into Lake Erie... Hotel bar has limited food selection.. not real "Buffalo" Wings. $2 drafts on Sundays... And remember parking is 10 bucks a night... Bills players stay/use the hotels conference room when they have a game in town. Bring your sharpies!

“Gamble paid off - expectation exceeded”

Service at counter was friendly, professional & helpful. All areas we were in were clean & seemed recently upgraded. Room was quiet & fantastic more like a Boutique Hotel with nice furniture & fresh white new linens with a warm brown bed scarf draped across a down comforter. Work was being done in one restaurant but if that remodel is as nice as our room we will enjoy seeing it the next time we stay at the hotel. BTW the rate was great & other reviewers weren't pleased about parking charge, but we're from NYC area and $10 a day was more than reasonable plus we were always able to park 2-3 spots from the entrance.

Area recommendations

We enjoyed several restaurants downtown with customary good service fro Buffalonians. Parking was easy to find. We ate at Lake Effect Diner, Santaseiros & Wellington Pub all classic Buffalo restaurants with comfy atmosphere & good every day homecooking. We have been to Buffalo many times but this was first time to Botanical Gardens (to see poinsettia display) & to Our Lady of Victory Basilica - both nice for a quick afternoon visit - never any crowds in Buffalo (with the exception of Bill's or Sabres games.)

“definitely use it again.”

The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My girlfriend and I like it. Will definitely use it on our next trip. Location was excellent for us and the hotel was clean. The beds were comfortable also. Overall it was a great stay at this hotel.

“Hotel was acceptable”

Room was fine but heater or air conditioning was coming on and going off throughout the night for temperature control, very noisey. Breakfast is definitely not recommended. Sports bar for food was very good and reasonably priced. Not the best service though. Bartender took care of locals more than guests. Pool, sauna & workout room nice for the star hotel rating. No towels provided at pool, very limited staff thoughout the hotel.

“central location”

“Perfect if you are going to a Sabres game”

The hotel looks nice from the outside ... and is pretty nice on the inside... minus the rooms that haven't been updated. Our room was a bit run down and we had to call a few times to get a different coffee maker because none of them worked.... in the end we just gave up The only reason we booked this hotel was because it was close to the arena and for this reason I would recommend it to anyone else going to see a game.

“A Great Deal”

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Hotel. I had read the comments from others after I booked the rooms and was a little afraid of what I might find. I believe they have been remodeling the Hotel and our room was clean, comfortable with nice furniture and bedding great pillowas. The staff wasfriendly, helpful and professional. The pool was warm and inviting, the workout room well equipped and the sauna was clean and ready for use. I plan on going back to Buffalo and I will be staying at the hotel again. I did not get to try their restaurant but it looked great. There is a $10.00 charge for parking per car. Knowing ahead of time of the charge was good, that way you can budget it into your trip.

Niagra Falls are incredible must take time and walk the park go to all the areas to see the falls.

“If you don't like to sleep go here”

I wouldn't recommend this "Hotel". It was more like a big Motel and rates to match it. There were noises going on all night long. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything. There was an alarm clock going off in the next room all night long. The beds looked like the linen was just thrown on the bed and tucked in with the comforter. I couldn't get a crib to save my life. It took over 1hr to have them locate one. This was my first time staying at this hotel and my last.
