“great value hotel in a great neighborhood”
Very helpful hotel staff, who helped us plan and book dinners, shows, etc. Great location and nice modern hotel with a pool. Or room also had a kitchen, which was a nice feature. Would definitely recommend and go back.
“Okay, not super impressed”
Overall our hotel stay was mostly positive. The staff was friendly and the stay was comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious and with a good selection. However, the room was a little smaller than expected and the staff dropped the ball on making tango show reservations for us. I would suggest travelers look elsewhere, but I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel if other options were hard to find or if one could get a discounted rate because overall the hotel was adequate. We did have the opportunity to stay here on a second trip but decided to try another hotel instead.
“Fabulous hotel, amazing staff”
This hotel was so great we booked it again when we returned to Buenos Aires two weeks later. Great location, close to plenty of restaurants. We used taxis to get around town, all very easy. We had a studio room with a small kitchen the first time, and a triplex room on the return. (split level, with a roof top deck on the deck.) The staff were amazing, all of them extreamely helpful with advice on where to go, how to get there and booking taxis to the airport.
“Very impressed”
The hotel is very good! Very good localization, the rooms are clean, clear and comfortable. There are just 12 rooms I guess, so it's kind a familiar hotel. I really recommend this hotel. I almost forgot: there is a computer with internet access per room.
“Great stay in Bueanos AIres”
The Hotel Torrecillas was a wonderfuul place to stay in Buenos Aires. It had all the services at a very reasonalbe price. The staff were highly professional and excellent at making our stay highly pleasurable.
“Great service!”
Everyone working at the front desk was extremely hepful and friendly. The hotel is a short walk from many great Palermo restaurants, and taxis are plentiful in the area. The room was very clean, bright and modern, with a rather large kitchen, comfortable beds, and large TV. There were a few instances in which we lost hot water in the shower, but it tended to come back in a few minutes.
“Not impressed but clean and safe”
This hotel was clean and the neighborhood was safe. There were a good selection of restaurants nearby but the general neighborhood, unfortunately, seemed old and run-down looking and devoid of people - so it was generally depressing. I won't book another room at this hotel due to two negatives in our 2 floor loft. Each floor of the loft was really small. We had 3 people in our group, 2 on the bottom floor and 1 on the upper floor and there wasnt much room left. Though not a negative, the spiral stairs connecting the 2 floors is tight and you have to maneuver up and down carefully. The main negative is the shower pressure and hot water. The hot water's pressure was low and it would often alternate between cold and hot water so taking a shower was a chore.
“Great BsAs Palermo Soho hotel”
Great location - close to everything you need in Palermo Soho (which is where you should stay when visiting Bs As). Palermo Soho has a lot of great restaurnats, bars, shopping, cafes, etc. Also only a short walk from Palermo Hollywood which is where more of the nightclubs are. Room itself was big, had a small kitchenette and even had a computer that was hooked up to the internet. Staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was ok given that it was included in the price. Would definitely stay again.
“Great service and value.”
Terrific well-managed boutique hotel with a very attentive staff that is knowledgeable, professional, welcoming, and eager to be helpful. Great place for a short stay because the staff is outstanding and a long stay because rooms include a mini-kitchen. Larger rooms are well suited for families. Rooms are clean and comfortable but not luxurious. Outstanding value. Very highly recommended.
“Not impressed.”
For the money I paid, you can find better hotels and locations. The staff was good and accommodating. Breakfast was good. The location was a different thing; the city is beginning to modernize the surroundings and is a little scary in some parts. If you go out take a taxi, they are very cheap. Would I stay here again, maybe.
