“One of the best hotels I have ever been with this price range.”
Very large room and kitchen. The service is good. Good location near major department stores and subway.
“Nice central hotel - good rooms”
Nice hotel in a good location. Close to parks, shopping, resteraunts etc.
“Functional hotel but noisy.”
The hotel was simple and well located. The buffet breakfast was good. The staff was helpful and spoke English well. However, the hotel is located in a busy area, was noisy and we moved to a quieter location the second week.
“Recollections of Recoleta and Palermo”
We were in B.A. first time, and this small boutique hotel was an excellent choice for 6 nights. Clean, quiet, good neighborhood, a walking distance to Subte (the Bulnes), Citibank, Santa Fe's shops, Carrefour supermarket, and even some museums and parks. Hotel personnel – Xavier, Herman and Lucia are very cooperative and thoughtful. They provided help in every tiny thing from taxi ordering to booking tickets online for a short trip to Uruguay, advising on shopping, dining, traditions, history, etc. Ask Xavier for direction to any city attraction, or Lucia for a good restaurant: you can trust their taste. I would like to use this occasion to thank them all!
“Can't wait to go back”
Amazing hotel for the cost, huge room and bed. Great views from the balcony.
“Great place to stay”
We selected this hotel based on travelers' reviews and couldn't have been happier with out stay. The room are huge (50 sq m or 500 sq ft) and very comfortable. This is a very small hotel but with always someone helpful on duty. It turned out that we left some important items in our safe and the hotel was wonderful about finding the items and shipping them back to us. We would not visit Buenos Aires and stay anywhere else. A real bargain.
“Nice hotel and the front desk staff is great”
We were impressed with the quality of this hotel. The rooms were huge, clean, and modern, but the front desk staff (particularly German) really make it a great place to stay. They were always cheerfully willing to assist in any way they could including storing our baggage and booking a remise. The noise (both from the street and the adjoining room) was our only concern, and that was just a minor issue that would not prevent us from recommending this hotel.
“hidden gem”
We stayed at this small hotel (only 18 rooms) for 11 nights in October 2009. It is located in Barrio Norte, a subsection of Palermo close to Recoleta. The area is very safe to walk, subway station Bulnes is about 5-10 minutes away. Rooms are spacious, wooden floor, minimalist decor, very modern, very comfortable bed, LCD TV, free wireless Internet, minibar, kitchen area with bar stools. Room was cleaned spotless every day. There is some street noise, we were fine with earplugs. Breakfast was included, very good quality (although somewhat limited selection), in the nice cafeteria adjacent to the hotel. Best part was the excellent, courteous, personal service received from all the front desk receptionists. I have rarely seen such degree of professionalism in my trips abroad. They answered all the possible questions, made restaurant inquiries and reservations, tango and other show reservations, arranged our day trip to Uruguay and chatted with us regarding our experiences in Argentina. They were genuinely interested in our opinion. Overall this hotel exceeded our expectations and offered an excellent value for the money paid.
“Great place to stay”
We travelled with our 10 month old daughter so it was important to have a kitchen in our room. This was ideal, however not a lot of utensils etc. to do much other than boil the kettle. A few saucepans would have been handy. Level of service from front desk was excellent. Room was big and spacious, while the bathroom was a little small. Location was good, can be quite noisy at night though. Great shopping centre very close by. Great restaurants a short cab or 20 min walk away. Overall a great place to stay we where very happy here.
“Wonderful place to stay”
My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights and we LOVED it. The front staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were wonderful and clean, and the hotel was about two blocks from the Subte which made getting around very easy. Our only complaint was that we had to take quick showers as there was not a lot of hot water. We really can not say enough good stuff about this hotel. Be sure that you have the address though because the taxis do not know where it is. Know that you are going to Juncal (pronouced huncal) and Billinghurst and you should be fine.
