“Single traveler”
I just spent 3 wks at this hotel, the staff was helpful when asked questions and made tour arrangements very quickly. Of the staff Javier was the best, friendly and always suggesting new places to visit. The location is fantastic, I was traveling alone and never felt threaten, easy location to catch a taxi or just walk, there are lots of buses and the subway is easy to navigate, I took all forms of transportation and got were I was going very easily. Restaurants are within walking distance. Shower was hard to regulate to get water temp, no tissue box. Breakfast was adequate and plentiful, they will not cook eggs to order, just hard boiled. I would recommend this Hotel for location and value for the money..
“OK hotel in a decent location.”
Pretty much a 3 star hotel. The staff did speak English and they were helpful. Took the city bus tour (3-hours) $20/person and well worth it. The rooms were decent size and the beds were OK. Breakfast buffet looks decent, but mostly cold cuts/cheese and bread/croissants. Fruit tasted like canned fruit salad and the orange juice tasted like it had been watered down or mixed with powdered juice. But overall for the price we paid it was an OK hotel.
“Next time, I'll stay somewhere else”
The people working there are nice, but the hotel is very old, I tried not to take my shoes off when I was walking on the carpet, and I requested a non-smoking room and it still smelled like cigarette
“Location”
I would recommend this hotel for one reason only the LOCATION. The hotel is standard, the breakfast is ok. The hotel advertise free high speed Internet. Internet is only free in the lobby its $20,00 Pesos a night. The carpet in the rooms are worn. The cleaning staff are friendly and helpful.
“it was good but nothing special”
there was nothing bad about this hotel, but nothing fantastic either . Its location was pretty good. Its a big city hotel . People were nice, it was clean, we were able to check in early. had no problems .
“Good service, good value”
Stayed just one night. Was a little concerned about the bad neighborhood we drove through to get there, but hotel was in an o.k. neighborhood. Somewhat "old fashioned" room, but comfortable bed. Newly redecorated bathroom, plenth of hot water. Very clean. Wonderful breakfast. Most staff spoke pretty good English. Would stay there again.
“Great Location, but Better Options Out There”
This hotel was ok. The room had a noisy A/C unit and wasn't as clean as I would have liked it. However, the staff were great, and the hotel has a great location in Recoletta. I recommend checking out the El Conquistador in Microcentro instead. The location of EC is not as good, but the hotel itself is great and is actually a bit less expensive than the Wilton (especially considering that the Wilton charges you for WiFi). I only recommend this place to others if you are hooked on staying in an affordable place in Recoletta.
“OK hotel in great Recoleta location”
the room was adequate, but very clean with a very nice bathroom. Great breakfast buffet. Since most of my day was not spent in the room, it worked very well for me. Hotel is centrally located in a great neighborhood, within walking distance of terrific restaurants, the Recoleta cemetery, and great shopping. And the price is right: great value.
“A Gem of a Hotel”
It is important to pass on good deals both in price and service. The Hotel Wilton in Buenos Aires was superb. The desk people were excellent and always helpful; the bell-guys were as well. Cheerful staff, conscientious, good recommendations from everything to restaurants to the authentic tango places. The location was central and close to all transport, the breakfast was plentiful and appealing. Highly recommended on all areas.
“very good locatıon.”
it was very lıkely travel. We enjoyed .
