“Fantastic Boutique Hotel - AMAZING EXPERIENCE”

Blue Soho was such a fantastic experience from start to finish Luciano and the team were so helpful and kind, the rooms clean and beds so comfortable. The location in Palermo Soho is absolutely outstanding, and this stay made my trip to Buenos Aires.. I stayed an extra night and would go back here in a flash!! Highly recommend.

Palermo Soho, Palermo Hollywood, San Telmo markets on Sunday, Puerto Madre for teh Tango show 9but this is very touristy)...definately recommend the day trip to Colonia in Uraguay while you are in Buenos Aires. Go to Cluny Bistro in Palermo and to Milion (Bar) Parana 1048 in the city proper...oh and buy a 10 trip pass for the Subte really easy and very very cheap to get around. Watch personal belongings in tourist areas like Recoleta.

“Great Location but not for a light sleeper”

Blue Hotel Soho is in an amazing location but has some short comings. We stayed here for 4 nights which included a sat and sun of a long weekend. Due to the location and proximity to pubs, bars and clubs comes noise till the early hours. We stayed in the N (natural) room which is upstairs in the upper right corner. The room was a bit stuffy and the air con was very loud so we couldn't sleep with it on and the noise outside meant we couldn't open the door to the balcony. There was also a constant drilling noise coming from next door, which while it wasn't overly offensive it was enough to keep you awake. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nearest subway (subte) is about 8 blocks (15 min walk) but cabs are cheap and plentiful if you have had enough walking. To sum up, If you are a night owl and a heavy sleeper than this place is great due to its location, but if you are light sleeper then maybe look elsewhere.

Area recommendations

Palermo Soho is fantastic for its cafe and boutique shopping culture. Over the weekends there are street markets which run late into the night, and a variety of bars and pubs. Be warned: restaurants do not open til after 8pm, usually around 9pm.... so if you are hungry you would be best served to insert an extra meal between lunch and dinner! Highly recommend the San Telmo area and markets on Sundays. Starting behind Plaza De Mayo and stretching for kilometres these markets offer something for everyone. Would be a great place to stay if you are planning on doing the whole Tango/city thing, although Palermo offers a much more relaxed vibe.

“Great Hotel ......BUT”

Without doubt a great location as you fall out into the hip and trendy shopping and eating area of Palermo Soho and the staff and service was excellent. But there is construction work going on at the moment in the next building and after a long trip from Europe I could not get any sleep. Also I saw the special online and booked because the photos looked great as a treat but I agree with the other reviews it has the feeling of a hostel. The standard room I had has the bathtub in the room and the tall height of the room and thin walls gives you that hostel feeling. But ......The internet was great and free which is a great change these days I would say if you want the area, stay here, but maybe upgrade maybe to the executive rooms ! Room Tip: They are offering if you pay cash there is a 15% discount

Recoleta is my favorite area as its easy to walk to all the great areas of shopping and sightseeing.

“You have to be young !”

PAlermo is a neghborhood you can have lots of fun just walking around- Bars, restaurants and cute stores for young people. Malba Museum and the Recoleta are very nice places

Carefull, I was robbed while waiting for a seat at hotel in Palermo- They took my whole purse. A couple faked an accident on their leg, screaming. While I looked to the left to see what was happening, someone else came by the right side ( I never saw who) and took my purse

“Forget everywhere else - stay here!”

My partner and I stayed here for 10 days, and we loved every minute of it! The staff was just wonderful – Maricele, Luciano, and Nahuel were especially helpful and forgiving of our limited Spanish. Our room was on the lower level and, while a tad on the small side, was extremely quiet and comfortable. Very stylish, with great bedding, an awesome shower, and fresh flowers everyday. The breakfasts were likewise wonderful – they couldn’t wait to offer us fresh espresso, croissants, scrambled eggs and more every morning. And the location – smack in the middle of fashionable Palermo – really can’t be beaten. Shops and cafes all around. For coffee and dulce de leche, try La Salamandra just down the block. And for spicy Peruvian food, try Pozo Santo a few blocks away. -Ask Luciano for directions. Whenever we come back to Buenos Aires, we will make a point of staying here again.

Don't miss the tango show at Cafe Tortoni. It's a little touristy, but really fun! Tip: have wine with the show, but skip dinner.

“Best chic hotel in Palermo Soho!”

Loved the room - was perfect for me after 3 months travelling around South America...exactly what I was after! The room and hotel were both very clean, breakfast was amazing as was the customer service! Staff were always happy to help anytime! An appropriately chic hotel in the centre of the equally trendy Palermo Soho district. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! Excellent small hotel!!!

“Palermo Soho BA”

The hotel is located at a pretty convinient and interesting part of Buenos Aires. The building is old, but well reformed. The rooms are smaller than I expected.
