Air-conditioning was not working properly first two nights of stay - room was too warm. Hot water took over 5 minutes to come through, if at all.

The air conditioning in my room never worked and it was hot and humid. The man at the front desk was very nice, but didn't realisticly address the problem. The heat was a deal breaker for me. At breakfast the coffee was very good. The buffet was mainly pastries, no eggs, etc. Not to my liking. Location is very convenient to things.

Except AERO-GARBAGE-MEXICO lines they changed my flight over than 5 times with lay over more than 24 hours, the hotel was not bad. Little bit noisy because of main air conditioning compressor, i asked to change the room and they accepted after i selected and paid for this option. Overall not bad.

This hotel is located very close to Plaza de Mayo, 2 blocks away if you make a right, and the Obelisk, 5 blocks to the left. It is very close to the metro station. Calle Florida is 2 blocks away, also Cafe Tortoni if you are willing to stand on that long line to get a table. There are many places to eat around it. The area feels safe. They also exchange money and the rate is very good. The rooms are small, the breakfast is simple but the staff is very helpful, they are great and very friendly. I will definitely return and recommend this hotel.

Excellent customer service. The lady at the reception was super nice, polite and kind. Thank you for the great customer service. Location was awesome. Room was clean. Beautiful hotel. Decent breakfast. WiFi signals were weak in the room. Overall very happy. Keep it up.

Someone on a motorbike rode by me on the sidewalk and tore the necklace off my neck- right outside the hotel. It was dark, but not particularly late at night.

Location! Location!
Basic hotel for tourists, it lacks a bit of care. The best of the hotel ... LOCATION! Steps from Plaza de Mayo. Good continental breakfast (breads, ham, cheeses, cornflakes, coffee, fruit among others) Cons- the air conditioning despite multiple attempts to request in front desk to be lit in the room never happened. We had to sleep with the windows open so that the temperature was comfortable. Comfortable bathroom with hot water. It was seen that there is remodeling work in the hotel so you can expect improvements in the structure and maintenance of the rooms.

room was rundown. bathroom had rust on shower curtain rod, faucet handles were loose. paint on wall was chipped. towels threadbare. desk chair was flimsy and needed to be replaced. bed was firm, comfortable, sheets were clean. breakfast was adequate. Wifi worked OK but had trouble with video calls. desk clerks friendly.

The hotel is located close to the city centre so very convenient. Our room was small and cramped. Cleaning service was good. Staff didn’t speak English well and breakfast was average. WiFi was ok in the room but did not work around the other areas of the hotel including the lobby. Not bad for the price, but would consider elsewhere next time.

old hotel with an excellent location. Really bad internet. good breakfast. My room/bathroom was really small, they offered to change. You can walk to anywhere from this hotel, lots of restaurants and shopping around, easy access to subway. Book a taxi to pick you up and drop you at the airport.

Nice hotel close to Plaza de Mayo
The hotel is very close to the attractions in Buenos Aires. The cathedral, Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosado and subway stations are just walkable from the hotel. The location is also safe for the tourist. The hotel is clean as always. The staff are always helpful in many ways. The check in and check out were fast. I would like to recommend this hotel to my friends who are going to visit Buenos Aires.

A few Steps from San Telmo and Casa Rosada
Excelente location in the center of historic downtown. Beds are the most comfortable of hotels in the area. A huge plus is that front desk is very accommodating in letting you check in before check-in time. Great courtesy!

Very disappointed
The check in was a man who was mean and treated us like we were not welcome to stayed in the hotel. Just one man with bad attitude ruined the front desk’s service. The housekeeping team never clean de room and I’m asthmatic. We always have to call for shampoo and conditioning. Sometimes they want us to share the towels. Just at the check out when we were leaving was an old man who was very nice .

Unfortunately we both arrived sick so didn't see much of Buenos Aires. The staff at the hotel were very kind and helpful to our situation. I wouldn't rate this as a 4 star hotel only a 3 as the decor was dated and the air conditioning not working which was unfortunate as it was very hot.

Excellent location.
We used this hotel to store luggage after the cruise. Room was ready in the morning, which was a nice bonus. Room was clean and functional with good bathroom. Location is great to explore the sights.

a group of us booked into this hotel as we were attending a nearby meeting and we wanted to stay on over the weekend and complete our document output. From photos on the web, the lobby looked appropriate for this purpose and the price was reasonable for those of us on NGO budgets. The staff actually allowed us to stay in the breakfast room (normally closed after 10 am) and work all day Saturday and Sunday which was a lot easier than using the lobby. There was no charge for late check out, they located taxi's that could take us 4 at a time to the airport (cutting that cost in half) and were generally exceptionally helpful.

Average hotel, Centra location.
Firstly, pictures were a lot different to the actual rooms. Lobby area was nice and clean, however the rooms were old and cold. Somewhat clean, bathroom was rundown, dirty shower curtain, old-style box TV and crackling floor boards. Front desk staff weren't the friendliest (maybe because I couldn't speak Spanish). Only good thing was the location, centrally located next to Plaza De Mayo. Not the worst, but not the best either.

I feel right at home when I enter the lobby.
It is an oasis away from the hustle and bustle outside. Location could not be better. Walking distance to all the best history of Buenos Aires.

A good choice in Buenos Aires
A great location just off the Plaza de Mayo. Within walking distance of many attractions and things to. Staff is very helpful and hotel amenities are far above what the room rate would suggest.

This is considered a pretty nice hotel with a good reputation, and it's been here for a long time. The building is old and takes some TLC to keep it going but the staff is great here, there are people always working/cleaning at your service!, the front desk people speak English and are very professional!
