“Luxury accommodation on the edge of town”

Helpful staff. Extremely good value for money. A potential minus is its distance from the main attractions. However, to offset this problem there's a complimentary shuttle service which I don't recall seeing anywhere on your web page. Sumptuous buffet breakfast. The complimentary spa is quite wonderful! Finally, the hotel taxi was a real bonus - chauffeured Mercedes luxury and totally reliable.

“Great for Swimming and jogging in a Big City”

This hotel was a great way to end a two week trip. Beautiful comfortable room with all the amenities. We especially liked the proximity to Margit Island where we could jog on wonderful trails each morning. There was also a great exercise room at the hotel and thermal mineral pools. The main swimming pool was large and the right temperature for a good swim. The dry and wet saunas were fantastic. The only problem we had was being ripped off by the Ramada Inn Taxi which charged us double the fare. We took it up with the concierge who forced the taxi driver to pay us the money that he overcharged us. So all ended well. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Relaxing spa after a day of sightseeing”

The best feature of this hotel is the indoor pool and spa. After returning from sightseeing, it was nice to spend some time relaxing in one of the pools in the spa. The hotel has all the comforts of a 5 star hotel. Our room was on the 4th floor with a view of the Danube. The hotel is not in the centre of the tourist area's, but we had a hire car so drove into the city centre.

“An example of what it should be like to travel in Europe”

It was very enjoyable with the hotel facilities including the SPA being fanatastic. My wife and I made it a point to get back to the hotel before dinner to enjoy the Spa incluing the numerous pools and steam room.

“Comfort in Budapest”

The Corinthia Aquincum Hotel, where we stayed on our first-ever trip to Budapest, was just the beginning of a completely wonderful experience. Initially, we all thought that the hotel was "too far away" from the sight-seeing action. However, after learning how to travel on public transportation, (the rail line is almost outside of the Aquincum's door!)we began to realize how close we were to the heart of both Buda and Pest! The staff is patient and accommodating. The rooms are magnificantly clean and comfortable. All around it was a 10+ experience.

“Great Chioce in Budapest”

Hotel is a little way out of town but there are lots of travel options very close to hotel. I personally walked everywhere, it takes 40 minutes to walk to the main centre of Budapest. I always felt safe and enjoyed getting a feel for the city walking through the suburbs. There is a hotel shuttle bus which costs just a few Euro's if you prefer. The hotel is close to Margaret Island which is nice for a walk and is also close to the ruins of the Roman town complete with ampitheatre - worth a look. I was very happy with my room, quite spacious and a view of the Danube. Staff spoke good English and seemed very efficient. I had the breakfast buffet which was a mixture of hot and cold items, not quite an English Breakfast but I would recommend the freashly cooked omlette's. The complilentary use of the spa was a great perk. After a long day it was perfect to recharge the batteries, very good. Overall would definately recommend the Ramada Plaza and come back to this lovely city.

“Our best hotel experience in Europe!”

Positively the best hotel experience we've had in Europe for the money. Clean, rooms above avg size for Europe, staff friendly & helpful. Restaurant excellent quality and prices reasonable. Excellent pool/spa layout. Not close to attractions but train station only about 150 yards away allowing easy connect to Metro, trams, and buses. Cannot imagine better deal for the price. Surrounding area not scenic but clean, safe, and view of Danube.

“Excellent, with wonderful Spa!”

An excellent hotel in all respects. Service was polite, efficient and helpful, room comfortable and clean with good amenities. Breakfast superb. Bar expensive but good service, good deals in "happy-hour-and-a-half". But the best aspct was the Aphrodite Spa complex. This is a lovely spa with a wide range of medical, relaxation and beauty therapies at good prices, and free use of pool, 2 thermal baths, thermal jacuzzi, 2 steam rooms and Finnish saunas for all guests. Heavenly after a few hours sight-seeing in the heat of summer.

“Best Spa Hotel in Budapest”

We are Americans that live here in Budapest for many years. This is where we go when we need a city break. It is the best thermal spa hotel in Budapest which has many to choose from! The breakfast buffet is not to be missed! Prices are very reasonable to the standard and quality of this hotel on all levels from the room service to the restaurant to massages in the spa.
