Central, friendly and located near lots of bars and restaurants. Budapest great to go out in, baths are amazing but don't go there for the food as it's a little average.

“Great location”

Hotel in a great location, very easy to get to sights via metro or walking. Our stay of three nights was very good value for money. Hotel staff very helpful.

“Excellent location!”

We enjoyed our stay a lot mainly because the location is great. It is in the centre of the city and only two minutes away from the underground. The breakfast buffet was lovely and all the staff were helpful and friendly. We definitely recommend you to stay here!

“Excellent choice”

Wanted to pack in lots of sightseeing on a 4 day trip, so the central location a few mins from Deak station was excellent, and made the airport transfer easy with the 200 bus then metro. Despite being in the centre of things, the hotel is set back from the main road and quiet. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with good beds and bedlinen, modern bathrooms. Pleasant ground floor area for the breakfast buffet - buffet options a bit strange but then that's being abroad for you. Staff helpful. Lucky with the weather so the roof terrace was opened for drinks. Will be recommending to our friends.

Area recommendations

Don't miss the spa baths or a night at the opera. Or the view from Fishermen's Bastion. Excellent art galleries & photographic exhibitions.

“Excellent location and value for money”

Highly recommend this excellent hotel. We arrived late at night & hadn't had dinner, staff were very welcoming, they organised a light meal and joined us to tell us about their city. The suites are very spacious, equipped with everything we needed & breakfast was included. Very good position & excellent value for a minimum amount. We only had 1 night but would definitely have liked to stay longer.

Getting there

Four of us travelled from Prague to Budapest by train, it was 7.5hrs but a lovely way to see the countryside. We booked our 2nd class seats from Australia and were pleasantly surprised to find we had our own compartment where we could stretch out.

“You need to consider this point.”

This hotel itself locates in a great place. However, they were not able to serve a room for me. Instead, they gave me a 2km northern hotel room. They sent me to the hotel by taxi. (ofcourse free) If you want to book this hotel, you should think that they may not give you a room in front of the reception at your check-in.

The staff was very courteous and pleasant. Rooms were pleasant and clean. Hotel is in an excellent block and good location.

Area recommendations

Vaci Utca in Pest.... Great shopping. Take a tourist bus to Buda side of the Danube. Beautiful.

Getting around

There are trams and buses. The best way to , though , is on foot. There are many tourist buses with headphones in about 10 languages. Take a few of those if you have time. They give you descriptions of what you see.
