“Excellent”
Excellent service from both desk staff and in the restaurant. Would truly reccommend this hotel
“Fantastic hotel in Budapest”
We love the Andrassy Hotel. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Staff are friendly, very helpful and speak English. Good location in beautiful neighborhood with easy access to subway. We returned to the Andrassy Hotel at the end of our trip, and will stay here again when in Budapest.
“Charming European hotel”
This was our first trip to Europe and we booked this hotel based on reviews. We couldn't have been more pleased with the atmosphere and service. The only downside is that it is somewhat of a walk to the Danube area where many restaurants and shops are but if you are up for it, it can be a pleasant walk to that area.I would recommend this hotel if you want to stay off the beaten track and in a nice, quieter residential area.
“Wonderful in Budapest”
We arrived in the middle of a heat wave and were made more comfortable than I could imaging possible. The staff went beyond helpful. I can not say enough good things about the hotel.
“Excellent value”
Excellent service and everything would have been perfect if the breakfast had been less expensive.
“location location location”
This was a repeat stay . On revisit still excellent overall compared to a large chain hotel in Budapest on the Duna . Walking distance of most everyting and wonderful neighborhood of boulevard and parks. Great and fancy restaurants and less expensive spots all close by . Staff friendly and helpful.
“excellent hotel with great restaurant and service”
Excellent overall hotel with world class restaurant and friendly helpful staff set in a grand part of the city .
“New Year in Budapest”
Took my girlfriend to Budapest for a few days over New Year, and had a great time staying at the Andrassy. The Reception was well staffed, with nicely presented friendly staff who were more than competent at speaking English. Once member of staff in particular, Istvan, was particularly helpful, and explained all the touristy stuff to us. Where to catch tube from, Tourist Bus stops, places to visit. We also picked up a couple of Budapest 72 Hour Tourist cards. This allows you free public transport for the 2 or 4 day duration of the card, free entry to some attractions, and discounts on other attractions and some restaurants too. Our Hotel Room, a standard double I think, was very nice. Bathroom clean and in good order, nice tiling and porcelain, with a well furnished bedroom, nicely lit, and a comfortable, good sized bed. The bar downstairs forms part of the hotel's Baraka restaurant, was a little pricey, very much London prices, but beautifully finished and classy. We had a few drinks there as it was such a lovely place to start the evenings. Budapest exceeded my expectations and is a beautiful city, lovely buildings, spectacular views from Castle area on Buda side of Danube, and plenty to do. The Medicinal Baths are also a must! It is certainly a decade behind the modern capital cities in Western Europe, but certainly is full of character.
“Great value for money”
Conveniently located this hotel is very comfortable, quiet and affordable. Will definitely stay tjere again.
“I love this hotel”
Perfect in every way...Large comfortable room with balcony and big bathroom. Quiet street, attentive staff and everything just right - I have stayed three times at the Andrassy and it is consistently excellent. I would not stay anywhere else in Budapest!
