We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. The restaurant was very good. However at our third meal one of our party was charged $25 for a Kettle One Martini. This was just too much, so we did not eat any more meals in the hotel.
The WiFi at the hotel was quite good, very useful for deciding what to do the next day.
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in August to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The quality of the hotel exceeded expectations. We had a river view room on the 4th (top) floor which was a great size and very comfortable. The thermal baths in the basement were more substantial than I had expected with a swimming pool, two thermal pools of different temperatures, steam rooms and segregated saunas and were a great way to unwind. Everything was very clean and the service was impeccable. As expected from a hotel, the bar was incredibly pricey compared with places outside, however it is a lovely place to have a drink and they have a happy hour on house wines pre-dinner which is nice. I was slightly concerned about getting around with the hotel being outside of central Pest but you can get the HEV, trams and buses from right outside the hotel and the travelcards provide excellent value for money. If you stay here you must try the local restaurant just behind the hotel, Kehli Vendeglo, which was by far the best eating experience of our trip.
The staff at the hotel are excellent. We arrived on a late flight and the hotel sent a shuttle bus to pick us up within minutes. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the airport, so it has a very convenient location. The hotel room was nice and clean and very comfortable. In the morning we overslept, but the catering staff still agreed to provide us with breakfast, which was extremely helpful. All the staff members were very polite and friendly, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
We booked at suite here for 3 nights in Sept 2014. Staying in a suite gave access to the Executive Lounge where we enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning, which had a good variety of food on offer. The lounge also offered refreshments & snacks throughout the rest of the day, although we were generally out all day so didn't use it then. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a beautiful location within the Castle District which had quite a few restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. I cannot find any fault with this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others. A very enjoyable stay.
