“Excellent Hotel in Great Location”
We were offered an upgrade with breakfast which we accepted and what a great room and certainly value for money.Hotel has an excellent location and friendly helpful staff. Would visit Budapest again in the winter to return to such a lovel comfotable hotel and sit in the sauna, bliss.
“Very Nice Hotel”
The Meridien is in central location next to the major public transport connections. I will recommend for the confort of the room and quietness even in middle busy roads.
“Would love to go back”
Super hotel - lovely grand character and art-deco feel. Great location and our room had a view of St Stephens Basilica - fabulous at night. When I go back to Budapest I would love to stay here again.
“One of the best hotels I've stayed in.”
Excellent hotel. Room: Very high levels of cleanliness and comfort. Rooms designed with thought, everything was exactly where it should be (i.e. the hairdryer was near a mirror, often the lead too short to be able to see when drying hair, chairs and desks easily accessible and actually useable in comfort. I know you would expect all this with a 5* hotel but surprising how often you dont get it. Bed was sooooo comfortable! Food: Breakfast expensive, didn't experience. Location: Excellent, very central. Will be going back... soon
“A fab place to visit”
Our stay at Le Meridien will be a memorable one. Staff at the hotel were extremely friendly - all spoke very good English and were very happy to help with anything. The room was marvellous and the location couldnt be better. I will certainly book this hotel again in the near future as I am intending to go back to Budapest. It was a great city break. Recommend it to anyone and everyone.
“Wonderful hotel”
This hotel was absolutely lovely. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. The room was spacious and we had a lovely view over a park. All in all the whole experience was great. Would certainly recommend his hotel.
“Le meridien”
Excellent from surprise birthday cake for wife 50th on arrival through ideas for trips, cleanliness, attitude of staff, booking airport transport etc. Did not eat breakfast as very expensive lots of cheap places very close by. Highly recommend to all. Yet again Expedia have come up with a bargain success.
“Excellent Hotel, great position”
Le Meridien is an excellent hotel in a great position in Budapest. 5 minutes walk from the Danube, across the road from the sightseeing bus stop, next door to the subway. Room was large, quiet, clean, well maintained with usual overpriced mini bar etc. Good bathroom. Busy lobby but excellent helpful cheerful concierge. Did not eat at the hotel but restaurant looks good. A city hotel, would therefore not recommend for young children, but for everybody else.. definitely!
“Great Hotel, definitely going back!”
This hotel is very comfortable, in a good location although not on the historic Buda side of the Danube it certainly is in easy access to the river, shops and good places to eat. The beds are very comfortable but most of all the service is second to non. was travelling on my own and the staff made me very welcome and were very helpful in recommending places to go and the best routes to walk to see all the sites...definitely returning!
“Great Choice”
Fantastic hotel, great location. Highly recommended.
