Fantastic hotel - couldn't ask for anything more.

Posted 12-Sep-2014
Pros: Toiletries were replenished every day; really comfortable beds; staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for you.
Cons: 3 teas and a coffee cost us £20, but I guess that's what you pay in a luxury hotel.
Location: Location was ideal - right in the centre of things. Easy to get everywhere from here and lots of tourist buses pass nearby.
4 friends stayed here on a birthday trip for 3 nights and we found it a beautiful hotel with all mod cons and extremely comfortable beds. We had requested adjoining twin rooms, which were provided and the hotel even gave us a birthday cake, which was a lovely surprise. We didn't eat in the hotel at all - £23 for breakfast was a little excessive for all we wanted - but I am sure it would have been amazing too. Free Wifi worked perfectly in the room, once we'd checked at reception that we weren't being billed - you need to provide your name and room number and it was a little confusing, but that was just a minor thing. All in all it was a really special occasion.

Great place to stay

Posted 07-Sep-2014
Pros: the location, the rooms, the whole ambiance.
Cons: Providing hot water kettles with coffee and tea sets in the rooms would be very helpful.
I took my parents on a trip to Budapest and wanted a hotel with a good location, which is what I found. The Kempenski is centrally located near all the attractions and a 2-minute walk away from the hop-on-hop-off bus tours. It is a nice short walk to the river and right on the pedestrian shopping area. I also love their ES bistro (though I would not recommend the chicken) because it has great seating , drinks, and bread specialties. the room was spacious and clean and the service excellent. the bathroom was luxurious and we were provided with plenty of towels, bath robes, slippers, and toiletries. free bottles of water and scented towels were provided to guests in the lobby to help with the summer heat.

Such a beautiful hotel. Everyone has to love it.

Posted 06-Sep-2014
Pros: Everything: location, staff, rooms, restaurant, lobby......
Cons: Nothing, its great enough.
Location: As said above.
It is such a clean and nice hotel. The staff are so friendly and helping, they are always smiling. The hotel is located in the middle of the busiest touristic block, so close to everything, only a short walking distance from the Danube river. The streets around the hotel are very safe and busy most of the time. There is a nice shopping street right behind the hotel, with brand name stores. There is another long street for souvenir shops, cafe's and restaurants right by the hotel also. There is a great restaurant in the hotel itself with great food. The hop on hop off bus station is only 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel. This is such a great hotel that I really recommend for everybody, honey-mooners, business people, families, etc...

Good Hotel

Posted 27-Aug-2014
Cons: No tea and coffee facilities in the deluxe room. A kettle was requested but nothing else except kettle and cups was then provided.
Location: Good location for bus and metro, also a good location for the main shopping street and cafés.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good spa area. Nice rooms. Blue Fox bar is excellent and the Living Room area was good. Breakfast is very over priced though. We used the hotel car transfer service which was expensive but also excellent and definitely worth a hassle free journey from the airport in luxury.
