“Great price and decent location (quiet and about 10 min walk to City Center)”
THe hotel was great. It was very clean and good value for the location. It is on the quiet side of town, but you could walk to the central part of town in less than 10 minutes. It is about 5 minutes walk to Parliament.
“Very friendly staff and a great place - thoroughly recommend”
Excellent
“Excellent hotel! Great service, very clean and comfortable”
This is a great hotel. Stayed for 2 weeks on business. Very friendly and helpful staff. They have free internet and free access to business center with 2 PCs, free coffee 24 hours, and free wellness center. Highly recommend!! Breakfast included, which is very important when you are on business. You do not have to tell your room number when entering the cafeteria, which I personally like very much.
“Decent option in Budapest”
The hotel has a decent location and the rooms are in good condition. The staff try their best. However, I would be careful when asking for recommendations because they receive commissions for referrals from local businesses. My chief complaint would be that the beds are very uncomfortable. Also, the elevator is very slow and you should expect to wait a long time, especially in the morning at breakfast time. If you're on a top floor and have to check out in a rush, this can be an issue.
“Very friendly hotel”
Stayed for a weekend break in this hotel and was very impressed. The from desk staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The standard of decor and level of cleanliness in the hotel could not be faulted. It is in a good location for exploring and sightseeing, and close to bars and restaurants. The breakfast was also very good.
“Excellent hotel in relatively quiet neighbourhood”
Excellent, high standards room, good breakfast, prompt service over telephone and email. Also provide own hotel transfer at reasonable price. However, not much happening surrounding area except close to the magnificent Parliment and Ministry of Agriculture and convenient public transport to centre Pest - take tramline 2, 2a.
“Excellent hotel - convenient location, clean modern interior”
The staff here were more than helpful. They went out of their way to ensure a nice stay for us. Our room was small but clean, modern, and sufficient. Just ask how to use the heating/cooling as it depends on whether they have the heat or A/C switched on (probably only relevant during shoulder seasons). Our room was too hot and we couldn't cool it down except by opening the window, which actually worked well as the interior rooms were nice and quiet. They were a bit overwhelmed at the breakfast rush, but the food was good and they were trying hard to keep up with the rush of guests. Overall it was a memorably good hotel and we would likely return if we are in town again.
“Couldn't wish for better”
All round top notch. Excellent breakfasts with good selection. The Wellness Centre was especially after a days exploration.
“Will stay here again the next time I am in Budapest”
I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. All of the hotel staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful. The hotel itself was beautifully designed and well maintained throughout. The rooms were comfortable, clean, air conditioned and the bathroom even had a proper hairdryer! There was an extensive choice of food at the breakfast buffet even for a vegetarian and when food ran out, it was quickly replenished by staff. As is common in alot of European hotels, there was no kettle provided in the room however there was complimentary tea and coffee available 24 hours a day. The hotel is situated on the Pest side and is close to the river and a major metro station. It appears to be located in a business/financial district and was quiet and felt safe walking around at night.
“Nice hotel - unless your room backs up to the kitchen!”
I stayed here because it is convenient to our office but it is not very far from the Parliament and St. Istvan cathedral. Hotel itself is nicely done, internet in room is free (but not wifi), breakfast came in the price and had a nice assortment. However, the head of bed apparently shared a wall with the kitchen, from which there were occasional loud crashes late at night and then early in the morning, which made for a short night's sleep. If you book do NOT stay in room 001!
