Premium Apartman House in Budapest was better than I originally expected. The building is new, staff is courteous and helpful, surrounding area is pleasant and quiet.
The apàrtments are well equipped with kitchen, electrical oven with four burners, all that is necessary to cook, all equipment is new and perfectly functional.
You have hard wired internet at no cost, with excellent speed.
There is a supermarket (Spar) in the very same building (if it is raining you don´t even need an umbrella to go to the supermarket).
Location is a little away from downtown and the tourist area but public transport is easily available and plentiful. Bus number 105 will take you to the Szcheny bridge, to the Buda castle and everything around it, to the Millenium Monument and all that is around it, etc...
Tram number 14 will take you directly to the largest shopping in Budapest.
Both rooms I used had a balcony to a nice square where children played.
Pleasantly surprised; nice sized apartments, great kitchen with fridge/freezer and oven for making your own food. Beds slightly on the firm side but sill good enough for a couple of nights stay.
'Backpackers' bar a couple of stops down; not too noisy at night and offered good value drinks
Staff more than willing to help out; arranging things to do, transport etc
Housekeeping every other day but new towels delivered quickly if requested.
Free access to pool and gym an added bonus
Dvd player in apartment (even had a few English dvds - don't know if they had just been left before)
We (4 of us) have just spent five days in the beautiful city of Budapest. We have nothing but praise for the hotel and the city but the holiday was marred by the service we received from Austrian Airlines. We arrived in Budapest at 10 .30 am on the Sunday only to be informed that the airline had lost all our bags. We were told not to worry because they would bring them to our hotel by 5.00p.m. They delivered three of the four bags by 11.p.m and we didnt receive
the last bag until 5.00 pm the following day. The Regency hotel staff couldnt have been more helpful and made countless calls to try to sort our bag problem. Things we enjoyed: tThe Fisherman's Bastion had spectacular views.the scheznyl baths were a great experience. Parliament spectacular but you've got to book in advance. We found some great places to eat and drink. The Cucina restaurant in VAci Utca was excellent. We found a great bar directly opposite the hotel called the Publin Irish Bar. Great service nothing too much trouble. I would recommend Budapest to anyone - very cheap to eat and drink but excellent quality. I would only say think about who you book your flights with. I have emailed them twice to complain and both times Ive received a reply saying we will get back to you. I'm still waiting!
We stayed in the one bed apts for five days just after xmas, excellent decor and very comfortable with a view of the pool from the balcony. Breakfast buffet is not included and far too pricy so we catered for ourselves with supplies from Auchan,it's a 20 min walk but easy to reach on foot. Hotel Colorado restaurant is a a carte and very good value as well as excellent local dishes. If you like spas and pools then it is an excellent place to stay, can also get shuttle bus to the city takes 20 mins, otherwise local bus and metro takes an hour. A draw back is the hotel is in a quiet part of North Buda with only a few restaurants near but there are some nice looking places to try in Auchan, it's a bit of a walk, so so an apartment is a boon. Also really need a taxi from an to airport, it is possible to use public transport if you are determined and have less luggage.
I stayed at Corvin Apartments with my daughter for three nights when we came to visit the sights and the Christmas market. The apartments are close to transport links (the bus and metro from the airport bring you straight here) and also a good supermarket and shopping mall. We arrived quite late from the airport but reception staff were welcoming and explained everything we needed to know. The apartment was spacious, light and airy with a great kitchenette for cooking your own meals. Seating and beds were very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. It was a very relaxed environment and a lovely place to come back to after a long day of sightseeing. On checkout the member of staff was very nice and put our cases into the store for us to collect later. I would recommend these apartments to anyone staying in Budapest on a budget. We really enjoyed our stay at Corvin and were very sad to leave!
Andras is very knowledgeable about his local area, and was keen to tell us the best places to visit, and gave us sound advice regarding travel in the area. The apartment we stayed in, was beautiful and full of character. It was clean and tidy, and very welcoming and ideally located to the main attractions in Budapest. We would definitely recommend a stay in this apartment to couples or small groups.
There is lots to see and do, and from where you are staying its easy to get to most places, Andras supplies some information leaflets and maps to help you find your way.

The rooms are brand new. Also a very nice owner,we will come back here for sure. Rooms were big and clean and had everything you could ever need. They provide free wifi. This is a very beautiful, clean and comfortable apartment. The apartment is in a very central location and walking distance to all things in the Pest side... Highly recommended.
