We booked this hotel due to price and location. Was slightly concerned after reading some disappointing reviews, but we found the hotel fine. It is a two minute walk from a main street with bars, restaurants, shops and tram routes, there are also a number of luxury hotels nearby. The decor is dated, but the hotel was always clean throughout. Our room was comfortable and clean, though a little worn. Perfectly suitable for our needs. Our only real gripe with our room was the noisy, ineffecient air conditioning (other than this there is no street noise, and we experienced no disturbance from neighbouring rooms). We found the staff polite and helpful with any of our requests. We would have no hesitation staying at this hotel should we visit Budapest again in the future.

Excellent hotel. Very friendly staff. Room and bed made daily. Free tea, coffee and croissant for non Breakfast paying guests. Center of Budapest and many sights in easy walking distance. Beautiful park outside the hotel. Even throughout my time (10 days) I struggled to find an alternative hotel that was in a more convenient location or better condition to meet my needs.
The hotel was great. The staff were really good. They provided a lot of information about things to do around town and were really friendly. The room was really clean and comfortable. No complaints whatsoever. I would definitely stay here again.
We arrived in the evening and were warmly welcomed back by the smiling girl at the desk. The staff are wonderful, kind, friendly and all welcomed us back with genuine warmth. This makes such a difference and so other hotels, please note.
We always enjoy our visits and will go back again as soon as we can.
It is stylish, without being in anyway flash.

4 night stay in basic room, lone traveller.
Great value and very helpful staff with perfect English (crass, l know but makes things simpler for the of us less linguistically adept).
Good breakfast buffet -got to love a culture that views cake as a breakfast option
Grandeur in communal spaces definitely retains its glory, rooms are more generic-chain hotel, but this didn't really matter as if you're on a city visit you'll likely be out and about a lot.
Free first entry to Gallery thermal spa complex and substantial subsequent price reduction, and the place is amazing and great to pop in from your room in the robe provided.
Only downside was noise from very near by tram stop, but to be fair my room within the hotel was placed about as close as it could be so this may not be as much of an issue in other rooms?
Would happily stay again, and thats not just the palinka speaking!
Hotel is easy to reach from the airport (via bus, and metro to Deli Pu). Excellent breakfast with a huge choice of items to eat. Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are tidy and comfortable.
Budapest itself is a great city and worth a visit. The hotel has a good central location so that all the historic sites are within easy walking distance.
