Loved the Corinthia. We were offered an upgrade which included complimentary food and drinks on the executive level and it was a real treat. Breakfast in the restaurant was lavish, but very crowded with several large bus tours staying at the hotel. The lobby and public areas are beautiful...old world elegance. The rooms are average. The location is away from the main interesting sights but the walking was good for us.
Modern beautiful decor. Kind friendly and plain wonderful front concierge staff.
Eager to assist with any endeavor no job too small!!! They went out of their way to help out.
I highly recommend this hotel. Would definetely stay again.
We were booked in to the Hotel for 8 days in a superior room, but at check in were informed that they were able to upgrade us to a junior suite. Just the first of many lovely surprises. The joy of living in this beautifully resorted and historic building, the sumptuous breakfast buffet, the magnificence of the dining areas, the style and comfort of the furnishing, all made this holiday a very memorable experience.
Excellent hotel. Very friendly staff. Room and bed made daily. Free tea, coffee and croissant for non Breakfast paying guests. Center of Budapest and many sights in easy walking distance. Beautiful park outside the hotel. Even throughout my time (10 days) I struggled to find an alternative hotel that was in a more convenient location or better condition to meet my needs.
Our stay was only one night. Rooms were well appointed and a decent size. Furnishings and decor were modern, well-kept and well thought-out, including the "kitchen" facilities which were cleverly hidden behind cupboard doors. Despite being categorized as an apartment hotel, the room we had did not have a sitting/eating area. Rather, the room had more of a typical hotel-room feel. Also, whilst the hotel is located centrally, it was a 15 or so minute walk to the river and perhaps a 20-25 minute walk to the edge of the Pest "tourist" area. Notwithstanding this, I would definitely consider booking there again.
