This was absolutely the best hotel that we stayed in in Bucharest! The only draw back was that it wasn't centrally located (you need to take a taxi to visit the people's palace and the old city [where there are lots of restaurants and shops]). There is a large shopping center within close proximity with a huge Carrefour store where you can grab essentials. Inside of the shopping center is a bank that conveniently exchanges currency. There is also a food court at the shopping center where you can grab a quick bite to eat. The pool inside of the hotel was very impressive with lots of swim lanes and a faux rock structure at one end with waterfalls (it does cost an extra 8 euro per day to use it, but it's well worth it). The reception staff was very helpful and they answered all of our questions. They had taxis waiting out front at all times and you could buy a taxi voucher at the front desk to ensure that you had a set price. The buffet breakfast is also quite impressive, there is a selection of croissants, yogurts, eggs, toast, rice with milk, cereals, meats and cheeses, coffees and teas.
"Nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Staff were very"
We stayed here only for one night at the end of our trip to Romania. It was about 15 mins walk from the old town, which is a great place for bars and restaurants. As we had already been to Bucharest before, we knew where we were going that night. The following morning the hotel phoned for a taxi to take us to the airport, very prompt. This cost us 50 RON around €12, so very cheap. Nice clean and comfortable room and excellent staff
For me it was strange when in swimming pool said that I should have my own slippers and they can't offer me one pair :)))))
Never heard something like this.
So I vent into the room to take slipper which are included in the room facilities ;)
This is a lovely hotel with a staff that makes you feel like family. Nice clean spacious rooms. Restaurant has a wonderful breakfast buffet and the dining room has a wonderful menu and the food is exceptionally good. My husband and I had a wonderful experience and highly recommed staying here and will the next time we visit Romania.
Rooms are very clean and comfortable. This was a short stay but quite enjoyable. Hotel is near city center with lots of good restaurants and shopping. The hotel is adjacent to the Atheneum and another main concert and entertainment venue. Short walking distance from the main Bucharest boulevards and high end shopping district along Calea Victoriei.
I've stayed at this lovely hotel every time i'm in Bucharest and each time receive a warm friendly welcome from the staff, and always impressed with the staff helpfulness to cater for their guest requirements., the Hotel is situated on a quiet street and is near to many of the attractions and easy walking distance to the metro station.. i stayed in the executive room which is in the old part of the building and stayed in the spacious 906 room again, as i previously stayed in 906 room last December, which as all the mod cons, beautifully decorated and clean, telephone, TV, good central heating system and air con, free wifi, which as good connection speed, a mini bar of assorted beverages and snacks which I personal feel are reasonable priced, a good powerful shower that stays at the temperature you set it at, king size bed, window blinds, which you operate with switch on the wall, expresso machine, a relaxation area , but on this occasion visit to the hotel, the kind manager had put in my room a complementary written note and a bowl of assorted fresh fruit, which was extremely nice and thoughtful of the manager and hotel and like to take this opportunity to Thank the Manager and friendly staff for making my stay at your hotel a extra special one and making i and my guest extremely feel welcome and shall look forward staying at your hotel on returning to Bucharest in the future

The Christina is an exceptional smaller hotel in a convenient location close to the metro. The rooms were comfortable, sleek, modern and immaculately clean as was the rest of the hotel. We arrived late and decided to have dinner at the hotel. I will save the comprehensive info for the restaurant review but the meal was excellent with fresh ingredients creative in preparation and presentation. So much so that we ate there the next night too! The breakfast was equally enjoyable with a great selection of items to choose from. This was a very nice hotel but the extra special part of our stay was thanks to the owner and staff. The owner Calin is a fascinating person who is not only an exceptional hotelier but a great ambassador for the country. Calin sat with us and talked about Romania's history, geography, economy and culture. His knowledge was amazing with dates and names. We felt privileged to have the opportunity for such a look into the past and present of Romania. The staff, obviously hand selected, were no less impressive. Professional, hard working, knowledgable and friendly. Bravo!
