“To avoid absolutely when you are a light sleeper”
The entrances to all rooms face an open space, where the small lobby and the open restaurant entrance are located. The noise raising from the lobby in the mornings is deafening, which also contains restaurant traffic, all hardly contained by the room door. The noise level is discomforting and avoids sleep after 8AM or during daytime. Add to that staff cleaning rooms and you even noise cancelling headphones are futile. I had an executive room at the end of the corridor supposedly to be the quietest. When I choose a hotel I care the most about a quiet room and serene atmosphere, not about cell phone conversations held in the lobby, or guests checking out speaking uninhibited, or hearing those enjoying breakfast buffet. First time and last stay in this hotel.
“bucharest for Business”
What a lovely hotel. Rooms were nice and clean all the time, maybe a little on the small side, but ideal for a buisness trip. Staff very friendly and helpful. Thanks So much. Only down side, was no pool or Jacuzzi.
“too much smoke...smokers”
We were disappointed that there was no 'hot' food served and only a microwaved Instant soup in the restaurant/bar in the evening...None in our group were smokers and the entrance to the hotel (two chairs) were occupied by smokers and the bar area/dining area had smokers ...We requested a private tour guide and ended up with a driver who did not speak our native language...driver did not know that two out of the five major areas we wished to see were closed on Tuesdays...Staff was very helpful and friendly for neighborhood walkabouts...The king sized bed that was adbvertised was not in the room...my feet hung over the bed...substantial difference in the buffet breakfast between weekend and weekday...scrambled eggs disappeared...only 'cold' buffet....soft boiled egg holders on the table but only hard boiled eggs served...street was Loud in the evening and early morning...woke up several times to screaming/yelling outside our window ..ou party of four would not stay there again ..bad outweighed the good
“True boutique”
excellent staff makes up for rather small rooms, but basically a very pleasant experience. my third stay.
“Can't wait to stay there again !!”
This hotel is located at one of the side street off the main street Victoriei , walking distance to most places. The breakfast buffet was good and the staffs at the reception desk are very helpful and friendly. Those guys from the day and evening shift are great, show you the room and carry every pieces of luggage for you to the room.Great bartender. Will sure stay at the Moxa if I visit Buchurest again next time.
“Boutique hotel is great location”
Nice hotel in great location. Friendly english speaking staff helped out whenever I had any question and helped to arrange an out of town tour on short notice. When I had an early departure, they make sure breakfast was ready for me. Comfortable bed too!
“Fantastic Place”
This was a wonderful stay, on our way in and out of the country. Personalized service, spotless rooms, great breakfast, will definitely return.
“a little vacation”
Great hotel.....staff was friendly, spoke good English. Breakfast was good. It is a pretty good central location, well close to it. I would definitely stay there again. If I had to say something bad.....the pictures on here are deceiving, based on pics thought I was getting bigger room but it was still pretty small.
“Would use again. Beautiful ......”
Everything was perfect! Bed was so comfortable.
“Gorgeous and friendly hotel”
