“Excellent Hotel, will go back.”
The hotel is ideally situated for a base to view the city, taxis and tramways outside the front door. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The only downside is that there is no restaurant, but there are shops and restaurants close by.
“Good location”
Within walking distance of most attractions but there is a taxi rank and trolley bus stop right outside the door for convenience. The helpfulness of reception staff varied. One couldn't do enough to help us arrange a day trip out of the city but when a different one was asked if she could book concert tickets for us she simply said 'No'. We had our son with us so we booked a junior suite and his bed was made up and 3 lots of towels were out for us when we got there but only two cups & saucers so we asked for another one. We were told we'd get one when the room was made up but we didn't so we asked again and were told it would be brought but it wasn't so we went and fetched one. In the morning it was taken away again and not replaced and this happened each day - with us having to go down to reception every time to fetch him a cup. Overall, though we were happy with the hotel - the carpet had a lot of marks on it but the bed was comfortable, there was plenty of hot water (although one night the bath water I ran was the colour of walnuts!) and, in general, the service was pleasant enough.
“Welcomke to the Dusty Old City”
When I first arrived in the dark of night, I was affraid I had made a mistake and ended up in an unseemly part of town. The hotel and staff were very decent. I was able to walk to a nice restaurant for dinner -- Varta. The hotel is close to a nice park (by east european standards). The park has a nice restaurant where I had lunch the next day. The hotel is walking distance to the old city, and museums. It is a good place to stay if you want to save a few Lei.
“Will definitely go back!”
Hotel Venezia had clean excellent service in a great part of town.
“Home in Bucharest”
The Venezia is a lovely small hotel. The staff are all welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean and decorated in a lovely way. It feels more like being at home than in a hotel! The bathroom, the bed, the view, the location- all are great!! As well, there is a gorgeous large park right nearby. I will be back!!
“Solid 3 *”
Front desk extremely helpful.
“excelent!”
thanks guys!
“Nice Hotel”
The Venezia hotel is small and clean. No fancy Shmancy hotel. Situated in the center of the city. You can walk, ride bikes or run in the "Cismigiu" park wich is a minute away. The room is clean and they have free wi fi.
“Great hotel”
We enjoyed our stay here. Breakfasts were good. Nice rooms. Parking is on street if you can find a spot. Bar was good. Have to walk to restaurants for dinner. Good location. Could walk to many sites, but Bucharest is a big city so you will have to find some sort of transportaion to get to some areas. We enjoyed the staff, and they were very helpful. If ever in the area again we would stay here again.
“Hotel Venezia - Bucharest”
Nice, clean and good price. Not exactly ideal location but can walk to most places.
