“Brussels”
A good hotel in a convenient location. A bit pricey but sometimes you have to push the boat out!
“nice hotel but some rooms not well designed for couples and a bit gloomy”
The rooms are small and in some cases too much allowance for a business desk leaving the bed squeezed into the corner. Others are okay but all rooms are slightly gloomy. Breakfast fine except for the scrambled egg - made with dried egg powder.
“Can't wait to go back”
The location was perfect! Walking distance to Grand Place! Breakfast had a great variety of options, gym was nice, and hotel/room was maintained well. Bed was very comfortable. The only problem I ran into was the hair dryer did not have much power, so it wasn't very successful at drying my hair. I would definitely stay here again. It was such a great deal!
“Scandic Brussels”
Comfortable and quiet. A three star level in my view. Very convenient for the city centre attractions.
“A good three star room in a four star hotel”
Excellent location.Great service However, hotels get a four star rating by offering restaurants and spas et al; and ratings don't always reflect the quality of rooms ( the most important aspect of any hotel!). The hotel may have four stars but my room was a three. A good hotel if you bear this in mind.
“Very nice hotel in the heart of it all”
The Scandic is in the perfect location for a traveler - right by all of the tourist places, the subway, and the train station. My room was small but everything was brand new. There was a flat screen tv on the wall and very comfortable bedding. The buffet breakfast was fresh and very good as well. There is also a computer downstairs that you can use for free. Overall, I was very satisfied with this hotel, and if I return to Brussels, I would definitely stay here again.
“Good location, best breakfast, free wi-fi”
Nice hotel. Good location right around the corner from the galleria, and walking distance to the train station, grote markt, cathedral, and just about everything else. Free Wi-Fi in the room and, hot food included in a breakfast buffet that already provided more than most, made this hotel extra good. The only negative I could think of, and it's not much of one, is that the hallways are a bit drab which made me wonder about the rooms that is until I opened the door to find a nice modern hotel room waiting for me.
“Philip Feldsine”
The hotel is very conveniently located near the Grand Place and train station. It is a good value but was at best average condition. Rooms are tiny even by European standards. There isn't even room for a upholstered chair to sit on. Cleanliness was OK but not great. I found a pair of used women's panty hose on the chair in my room so clealry staff did not check the room properly before making it available.. Bottom line a good deal but you do get what you pay for. There was a very good full breakfast included.
“Scandic Grand Place Brussels”
Within walking distance of Central train station but difficult to find depending on the exit taken from the station. Taxi drivers reluctant to take you because too close. Food, although a limited menu, good and service very friendly. No drawers in room and no personal safe was a definite disadvantage. Room size typically European but adequate for short stay. HS internet in room and free is good selling point. Check in/check out efficient. Decor in main areas good but corridors need an upgrade as will room shortly.
“Amazing location!”
Perfectly located within a 5 minute walk of the Grand Place, Bruxelles-Midi train station, subway to Bruxelles-Zuid, and just everything in the center of town. Safe to walk back to hotel late at night as well. Staff were very helpful and friendly--- never rude... always happy to help. Rooms were comfortable and impeccably clean. I will definitely return to this hotel.

Brussels City Centre - Grand Place, Brussels, Belgium: A heart-shaped ring road defines Brussels city core, and most of its visitor attractions. Within these limits, the centre consists of two distinct halves. To the west is the Lower Town, a tangle of medieval streets centred on the Grand Place, a vast cobbled square surrounded by ornate Flemish buildings. To the east is the newer and more aristocratic Upper Town, a zone of palaces and parks, grand museums, and gothic churches.
