“Eurofile”
This Hotel is very much a business hotel but caters for all sorts of clients Modern and comfortable lobby, clean and spacious rooms. Great breakfast and very nice evening restaurant Service sometimes a bit slow in the bar but all and all a lovely hotel. Located in the financial quarter and very quiet round and about except for Friday evenings when the local bars are busy.....
“Value for money; comfy bed, great breakfast!”
This hotel makes my stay in Brussels so much more enjoyable. The rate is reasonable, the staff helpful and truly multi-lingual, the breakfast offers a great choice of everything, the room is very comfortable. The location is not very close to most of the attractions, but if you are not opposed to walking, then there should be no problem. There are also buses that connect this hotel to the airport, Gare de Midi (Eurostar terminal) and the city centre. There are also restaurants both in the hotel and around that offer good food. Both my husband and I are very happy with our stay at the Renaissance.
“Good Front Desk Service”
Reception was very efficient and helpful. Some staff even remembered our surname and I find that impressive. Breakfast service on our first day was not as good because there were too many guests and not enough utensils and plates. Suggest coffee and tea be self-service.
“Can't wait to go back”
It is a wonderful, lavish hotel of all kind. I would be happy to go back if prices are affordable again. I would recommend it to anybody without reservation. Andrew
“Highly recommend”
The hotel is very clean and staff cannot do enough to help. I would certainly recommend, but be aware breakfast, drinks etc can be expensive.
“Comfy beds”
Very comfortable hotel with excellent facilitiies and chocolate freely available. Good location a short tube ride away from the tourist sites. Good restaurants within walking distance used by locals.Good size pool.
“5 stars in some respects.”
Brussels itself is lovely. we chose the Renaissance SOLELY on the advertised SPA/Leisure facilities. Our check in was effortless, the room was lovely, spacious and clean. The pool was nice BUT.. for the duration of our visit the sauna and Jacuzzi were not working. This for us ruined our trip. had i known it wasn't going to be working i would have booked another hotel, boasting similar facilities. The bar closed at midnight on one evening, despite being residents, and being four minutes after midnight we could not order a glass of wine, even to take to our room. Overall, nice hotel, but be warned..... not as advertised ! Also check your bill...tried to charge me for two nights accomodation, despite having paid !!
“Lived up to 4 star rating”
Very nice hotel - I feel it lived up to it's 4 star rating. Desk was well staffed and they spoke good English, check in was smooth and efficient. Room was decent size, massive bed and view of Parliament buildings (if that turns you on!), was well equiped (iron & board, tea/coffee making facilities, LCD TV, nice toiletries etc.) Location is not exaqctly central but was short walk to metro or bus to centre so not a problem. I ate in the restaurant, menu was quite small but I had a very nice steak. Overall I good hotel for the price
“Lovely hotel”
This is a lovely, clean, comfortable hotel, very close to a lot of the main tourist attractions. We were travelling with our little boy (who is not yet 2 years old) and found the staff to be very accommodating with what we needed for him (they even gave us extra towels and toiletries for him). The only thing I would say for anyone with small children is that there is a decorative pond in the centre of the ground floor and the barrier around it is not childproof. Other than that, we found this to be a really excellent place to stay.
“Very impressed!!!”
Our flight was delayed, which consequently delayed our check-in at hotel meaning unfortunately our room had been filled, however quick & friendly staff provided an upgraded room at no extra cost!! Wonderful service, lovely clean comfortable room, only wished it was a little closer to city centre, took about 10 minutes & 9 euros in a taxi so not too bad. Overall very satisfied & will definately use this hotel again.
