Best location for a hotel in Brussels!

Posted 21-Apr-2014
Pros: Location, location, location. Great deal for the. Oney.
Cons: They need to update the TVs, to be honest.
Location: See above. Best location we had in Europe in years.
The hotel is ideally situated - five minutes to the cathedral, ten minutes from Central Station, ten minutes from the old square. The staff was very helpful. In fact I ended up in the hospital for two days, again only five minutes away, and they couldn't have been more helpful. As far as the room - the beds were really comfortable, the place was clean, the Wifi was easy but the old TV didn't quite cut it. We didn't get the breakfast, we never do, but even so it seemed outrageously expensive. There are tons of places near by and, another five minutes away, a nice grocery store. Buy some pastries or fruit and use the coffee in the room.

Excellent location for city centre and trains.

Posted 24-Mar-2014
Pros: Location, very comfortable and clean room, excellent breakfast, helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: Computer with internet access for public use and printer. This would be useful for flight check in.
Location: This hotel is very near to the Grand Place and eating area about 5 - 10 minute stroll.
We stayed for a second time at this hotel as we wished to be near the centre but not where it was less likely to become very noisy at night with big groups. We also needed to use the trains and this hotel is only a ten minute walk from the central station. We paid for a basic double room which was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was absolutely excellent with a wonderful choice. We read that it is possible to have an extended check out at no extra cost which we did. We would definitely use this hotel again and recommend it to others.

Great location...but small rooms, bad internet

Posted 17-Mar-2014
Location of the hotel is excellent. 7 min walk from Grand Place. Breakfast was good. There was a variety of fruits, cereals, coffee, and juices, all fresh. My room was extremely small, almost like a box. Wasnt much room to lounge anywhere except on the bed. Bathroom was also small, only having a shower & no tub. The pictures on the website are very deceiving. The rooms are not bright at all and there's carpet instead of nice hardwood. The worst part of the hotel was the internet for me. Upon check-in, they give you a username & password that when you log in, its only good for 24hrs. Definitely not the case. Your login may be good for 6hrs or maybe 30mins. I had to go down to the desk 3x a day to pick up a new login sheet and some of them didnt work. I got disconnected multiple times.

Close to the Grand Place & Brussels central Train

Posted 24-Feb-2014
Pros: That the las test we could check out was 5pm since it was the wkend ;).
Cons: Nobs on shower plug
Location: Loved it, it was accessible to eatery, shopping and grand place! Not to mention bars/pubs (delirium).
The staff was very hospitable and the rooms were nice. Just wish the shower plug for the shower wasn't busted, it didn't prevent us from showering but it was only an exposed screw that you pull upwards. Aside from that it was good stay ;). Internet was free and had no problems with the signal ;).

Perfect hotel for us!

Posted 23-Feb-2014
Hotel was centrally located in town, easy access to everything, very close to bruxelles central station and grand place (both less than 5 mins walk). Staff on reception were friendly and helpful during the whole stay. Free strong wi fi connection available was brilliant so we could still be in touch with people back home. Room was clean and tidy, bathroom spotless, daily maid service was brilliant. Delighted with hotel, def looking at more nh hotels now for future trips.

This hotel was in a great location for all the attractions and shops. Not the most luxurious hotel but very clean and everything you need, including free wifi.

Pros: Rooms were new and clean.
Cons: The front desk was a little offstandish. At times they appeared as if they just want you to go.
Location: Grand Place and Royal Saint Huberts Galaries.
It is an AMAZING location. You literally walk a few steps to the Royal Galleries of Saint Hubert and from there the Grand Place is out the other entrance. And another plus to staying at NH Grand Place is they have their own parking. Well worth the stay. The rooms are clean and new.

Good central location

Posted 05-Jan-2014
It's right across the square from St Gudula's cathedral so it's not hard to locate and being in a central location it's not hard to get back to at night. The room and bathroom was of a good size and we slept very well. The breakfast is expensive so don't bother - go eat elsewhere, and there's a city tax to be paid separately!

centrally located hotel close to Gare Centrale

Posted 24-Dec-2013
Pros: location, friendly English speaking staff
Cons: Customers should be advised about the tourist tax (7.51 Euro a day) when they are checking in, not when they are checking out, as we were.
Location: Close to Gare Centrale, Grand Place, Opera House, very convenient
Centrally located hotel within 5 min walk from Gare Centrale. Reasonably priced, although breakfast seems to be expensive (21 Euro per room per day), do we did not include it and had a snack in the room instead. Tea/coffee tray in the room is a bonus, as is the fridge. Our room was small, window faced very closely located office block which made it awkward to keep the curtains open. The glass wall between the bathroom and the room is definitely an inconvenience and would have made a stay of two friends or relatives very revealing experience indeed...
