Very nice hotel in an extremely convenient location for going to Airport or Downtown Brussels. However, the free airport shuttle runs for very limited hours in the morning and evening, information not readily available on their website / Orbitz.

Ok airport hotel
Hotel rooms need a little updating but staff very helpful and accommodating. Nice little bar area and great stone baked pizza. 15 min taxi ride to Brussels airport.

One night stay for Business
Perfectly adequate hotel. Great location for where I happened to be working which was why I selected it. I didn't have an evening meal at the hotel but the food I saw being brought out while I had a drink at the bar looked good. Bar staff where attentive. There's a small restaurant a couple of mins walk away, can't recall the name but turn right out of the hotel. Very nice meal there and reasonably priced. Breakfast in the morning was fine, don't recall seeing any staff but everything I needed was there. Internet in the room was fine, only used it to catch up on emails. Price I paid was very high but all other Hotels in the area were similar, think there must have been an event on.

Great for a short visit to NATO.
Perfect for visiting nato hq, it’s 15 mins walk or the hotel runs a free shuttle bus in the morning. Not much else in the area, just 1 decent restaurant next door and quite a long tram or bus journey into the city. Hotel food is good too.

Good but not excellent
Ideal location being close to the airport and 4 minute walk to our Brussels office. The reception/bar/restaurant area was clean but quite small. My room was ok but not excellent. There were broken light switches and the bed and rest of the room was a bit dated. For the £165 per night price I was expecting a bit more.

Good hotel
First time stay at this hotel due to a flight cancellation. The staff were friendly & helpful. Room quite comfortable, in fact for the price very good facilities. Nice breakfast. Recommended.

Can't recommend without a big face lift.
The staff was friendly enough and very helpful. The lobby was nice and clean as well. The bed was very comfortable and the Internet worked very well. However, the room was pretty run down and grimy. The tile in the bathroom was stained black with grime, the carpet looks like it hasn't been cleaned or replaced in decades, and the whole room smelled of stale smoke. Housekeeping also didn't take care of the room until we mentioned something on the day of our last night of the stay. Overall, I feel like this hotel needs some updates and a good remodel in the rooms and it would bring it in line with the cost.

Convenient and super comfortable hotel
Great stay! Walking distance to my business location. So convenient to get to from the airport. Public bus transportation super easy. Excellent room - spacious and clean. Only ate dinner in the hotel and it was delicious. Definitely staying here again on my next visit.

Stayed here for a week whilst working at the Belgian army base about 1km away. Location was great for work, but there is absolutely nothing else in the neighbourhood other than the hotel. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Room service was very prompt and the food was always hot, but it is a very limited menu.

Excellent hotel (one night stay)
Our first hotel after driving from Manchester overnight, staff were very friendly and attentive, they supplied us with a very reasonable quick meal. Hotel and room were very clean, excellent secure underground parking. Tea/coffee making facilities in room, fully air conditioned and an excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Very Disappointing
I requested a non-smoking room with a double bed. I was given a smoking room with two twin (i.e., small) beds, and told that they were "sorry." I could pack up my stuff and have them move me to a non-smoking room the next morning--not interested in that hassle. Not only did the room and the whole smoking floor stink like cigarettes, but the shower was also pitiful: the water pressure was almost zero and the fixture to hold the shower head on the wall was broken and could not hold the shower head. And the light over the sink blinked on/off and changed in intensity constantly--very annoying. Apparently the "do not disturb" sign means nothing either, as they still entered and made up my room during the day while I had the sign displayed. It's one thing to not have available the room choice you request, but then to just say "sorry" without any offer to make up for it, e.g., offering a free breakfast, comp a night's parking, etc., doesn't cut it. Very disappointing for a Mercure. I guess they know their clientele is somewhat hostage to their location and they just don't care about service.

Horrible 'airport' hotel! Upon arrival we parked the car in the garage in the basement which smelled like a direct sewer!!! We decided not to park there and walk from and to the car in the surrounding area, this is not the parking Mercure whorty! Rooms were clean though old, after arrival we wanted a coffee in the bar but the bar was not open untill 3 to 4 pm. Employees did not even know at what time the bar would open!!! We decided to go for a walk and upon return we went to sit in the bar because it was 4.30! After 25 minutes we decided to leave and go out! We had not been served at that time even though multiple employees past by. The restaurant would not be open either so we decided to spend our evening outside... This facility is an absolute shame for Mercure! I spend multiple nights each year i airport hotels and am aware that facilities are often a bit different to city center hotel but this was absolutely horibble!

Brussels Airport Mecure Hotel
The hotel was conveniently located to the airport, the rooms were a good size and the restaurant had very good choices and reasonably priced. When travelling to Brussels I would stay here again

Staff was very nice and the room clean and spacious, but breakfast way too expensive (20 EU). Tram and bus to the city are very close by (20 mins by tram), but there is nothing in walking distance (no grocery shop, restaurant or coffee shop), which is a minus

Handy for the UN building, less so the airport
The courtesy bus from the airport to the hotel runs once an hour, at best. To get to the hotel from the airport, its a 10 minute bus ride, and then a 10 minute walk. How close is it to town? 20 minutes plus 15 minutes+ walk by tram (nearest tram stop 10 mins walk away), or 22 Euros by cab. So all in all, not in a convenient location.

Good hotel, but some bad experience
The hotel in general was clean and well maintained, the only problem was that the room in which we were put. the AC was defective and we had no option but to spend the night in the hot room as it was too late to ask for a change. The next morning the staff were kind enough to change the room for our next nights stay which was ok. Over all it was a good stay except for some bad luck, other wise the hotel is fine.

Convenient for visits to NATO HQ
Great location, just a few blocks from NATO HQ. Temperature control in the room was not very responsive; my room seemed warm and stuffy, regardless of what I did with the thermostat. The restaurant was very good; I had dinner and breakfast during my stay. I really appreciated the airport shuttle, too; the driver was punctual and professional.

No shuttle service on Saturdays. EUR 20 to the hotel from BRU. Breakfasts are expensive but offer a good variety.
