“Worth a stay”

Very friendly, clean, warm and welcoming. Staff helpful and courteous. Meets expected standards for overseas hotels. Just a shame that paint has not been cleaned off the carpets. Excellent location for walking to places. What more do you want for a place to eat and sleep!

“a good hotel at a good price - excellent value”

The hotel was clean and comfortable with fridge and wifi available in room, though the latter was a little expensive. Staff were very friendly and eager to provide us with useful information. Breakfast was generous and varied. The hotel was a little out of the centre, 15-20 minute walk, and area was a bit noisy but otherwise had everything nearby. Overall, Hotel Scandanavia, was a great hotel service for those travelling on a budget and I would reccomend it to others.

“you get what you pay for. !”

it's cheap and cheerful, whcih suited us as we knew at the price it could have been much worse! Not in the best part of town, but we didn't mind (we're from east London). Certainly didn't feel 'unsafe' as some have said, but then we're used to that kind of area. Breakfast was good, ample and set us up for the day. I don't think I would have wanted to stay there for more than a night or two (we just had a night stay over.

“Good for the price”

FGor the price, I have no complaints about the hotel. It was safe, clean, relaively recently renovated, and a (healthy) walk into the centre of Brussels. The street outside was quite noisy & the neighbourhood not exactly a Mecca for tourists - but that was what I'd expected.

“Nice hotel, good price/quality ratio”

Scandinavia Hotel offers reasonable rooms with bath/shower/lavatory and plenty of towels and also complimentary soap. The rooms also have a small fridge and a cable tv. The breakfast (included)was very nice and complete. The hotel is not in a nice neighbourhood, but the Metro station is very close (3-4 min walk), and the hotel offers a free shuttle to La Grand Place and the Midi Train Station in the evening. Overall: good experience!

“Review of my stay”

The hotel was average, the biggest down side was that my car's window got smashed when parked outside. Not happy about that at all, the hotel staff could inform me about the parking facility in the hotel.

“Good hotel but...”

It is a decent hotel but you must turn in your key at the front desk if you go anywhere. Also while they do offer wireless internet it's 5 EU for 30 minutes and 10 EU for two hours. It's cheaper to go to the various internet cafes in the area.

“so so hotel quie central”

The hotel itself was fine, if basic. The street was noisy, and the area not the best, could be unsafe at night. Reasonably close to the Grand Place. Our light bulb was not replaced despite asking twice. Good breakfasts.

“Not that bad.”

Rooms clean. Breakfast ok, little bit cheap. Room with view on the street are very noisy. The neighbourhood is not ideal.
