“Good value if take breakfast elsewhere”
Whilst the hotel was good value the breakfasts were much more expensive than an excellent self service cafe about 150m away. Beware booking taxi through concierge; it cost as much to get a taxi to the Brussels Midi station as a taxi from the street outside the hotel to the Palais des Expositions.
“Affordable luxury hotel”
A nice hotel with class and luxury at an affordable price.
“Brussels hotel plaza”
The hotel is in a very good location, nice breakfast, spacious room, hotel personnel are trying their best to help. Only drawback is no wifi in the hotel and cable net is expensive.
“Good hotel, not so great neighborhood”
Generally, a decent hotel trapped in a neighborhood that has transformed over time to a clutter of strip bars. The hotel staff seems to realize and over compesate for this with very attentive service.
“Perfect for short breaks”
Possibly the best quality of service I have ever experienced. Even my highest expectations have been exceeded. Last but not least, value for money is outstanding. All above statements are however exclusive of internal amenities, which completely lack the coziness factor. Le Plaza is for short breaks, where it is assumed that one does not spend too much time in the hotel, but wanders around and enjoys the comfort of the hotel room at the end of the day, once roaming is over. As I happen to be exactly that type of tourist, I shall definitely default to Le Plaza for any future trip.
“Would definitely stay there again”
The hotel was easy to find and an excellent location for shoppers like us! The room was beautiful and clean. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and extremely efficient. We would stay there again and will recommend it to anyone we know who is planning on going to Brussels.

“Reasonable Value; Absurdly-priced Internet”
With a few tweaks this hotel could be a lot better. It is clean, efficient and central. Other reviews have commented on the lack of air conditioning; I was there in September when it was not required but I did notice that my "traditional" (ie least expensive rate) room did have inbuilt aircom. I went for a conference and the food was rather better than you normally get at such events. Didn't try any of the other dining. The two tweaks: how much would it cost to provide a kettle and cups for tea and coffee? Second: dump IBahn as Internet suppliers. You have to give them your credit card details before they tell you what the rates are - and they are ridiculously high. These days even two star hotels offer free wireless internet - and I would far rather have that than sewing kits and "luxury" soap and shampoo.
“Plaza Hotel - Great Place to stay”
Walking into the Plaza certainly sets the tone - it has a very plush lobby and reception. The bar is nicely decorated and the staff are quick and pleasant. As for the room, nicely done out and the bed was a double queen size - plenty of room for stretching out even with a partner! The only drawback was the pillows - they were far too soft leaving you with a very sore neck in the morning. Would also be nice to have had some bathrobes.
“Very conveniently located hotel”
We had an enjoyable 2 nights at the Hotel Plaza. The decor very attractive and nice big airy rooms. It was also very quiet no street noise as it is on a busy main thorofare. It is very central right across the street from a large shopping area and only a few minutes walk from the centre of town. The only minus is the cost of breakfast at 25 euros per person per day! But there are plent of cafes very close.
