“Service with a smile”
Hotel le Plaza has a very attractive and relaxing interior. The public areas are beautifully furnished and give a warm ambience, up market without being intimidating. Staff are very friendly and quick to respond to requests. The old centre of Brussels is not too far to walk, approximately 1 kilometer, and the quickest route is using Rue Neuve which is a pedestrianised shopping street, so good for a pleasant stroll. On Sunday Evening the hotel restaurant was closed, only room service was available, so plan to eat out or have a cosy evening in. This may depend on the season I'd guess. The room was good, with a nice bathroom. The air conditioning didn't seem very efficient but the window didn't appear to open so it was the only way to circulate the air and the room did tend to get a little warm and 'stuffy' without it. This was February so I'd guess the aircon would be more efficient if the outside temperatures were to be higher.
“First rate accomodations; convenient access by train”
Hotel has an elegant lobby and dining room. An old hotel with rooms in first rate condition. Located just a block from the subway; can easily get to the North Train Station and around the city by subway. Within walking distance of great restaurant area.
“Would definitely go back”
Service was fantastic. Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly. All the staff at the hotel had a friendly Hello or Good Morning when they saw you. Our room was extremely clean and well furnished. Towels and linens were changed daily and of an excellent quality. If I go back to Brussels again, I will definitely stay there.
“Good value if take breakfast elsewhere”
Whilst the hotel was good value the breakfasts were much more expensive than an excellent self service cafe about 150m away. Beware booking taxi through concierge; it cost as much to get a taxi to the Brussels Midi station as a taxi from the street outside the hotel to the Palais des Expositions.
“Stunning Hotel”
Hotel Le Plaza was a stunning 5 star hotel with great service, friendly and helpful staff. The location was brilliant, central to everything. Would highly recommend this hotel!!!
“Perfect for short breaks”
Possibly the best quality of service I have ever experienced. Even my highest expectations have been exceeded. Last but not least, value for money is outstanding. All above statements are however exclusive of internal amenities, which completely lack the coziness factor. Le Plaza is for short breaks, where it is assumed that one does not spend too much time in the hotel, but wanders around and enjoys the comfort of the hotel room at the end of the day, once roaming is over. As I happen to be exactly that type of tourist, I shall definitely default to Le Plaza for any future trip.
“Excellent”
First class service and very helpful, friendly staff.
“Would definately recommend”
Stayed for 2 nights in an all male party of 9(all over 45), for an old boys weekend! The hotel was excellent. The staff were polite. Very central and close to bars , shops etc. Brussels doesn't really have the sights of other european cities but the hospitality was superb wherever we went. The only thing I would warn about the hotel in the bar is over expensive. Walk round the corner and many bars etc are at least half the price.
“Hotel Plaza Brussels”
I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying in Brussels. The hotel is centrally located and is within easy walking distance to the extensive shopping centre and the historic town squares and buildings. The hotel itself is very opulent and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever had. The room though fairly small was extremely comfortable and there was a large LCD television for entertainment. The only negative aspect about the hotel is the lack of parking (but remember it is a city centre hotel) though there is optional valet parking for 30 Euros per night, which I consider to be rather steep. Overall though a definite 5 out of 5.
