It is in the perfect location. It has a great breakfast included from 7-10 and to 11 on holidays…- The larger rooms have everything I needed - one less star because sometimes they forgot to add a soap or enough towels..:-) The staff is attentive but not overbearing .

This is a plain and unattractive hotel. Rooms are dreary an bedding is minimal. One teabag and no shower gel don’t make for an indulgent experience

Nice gitel but someissues in the room. One curtain is balckout, one is not. So no use really Breakfast is not suitable for disabled. Far too msny steps. Do this hotel is not suitable for disabled

Great location, not so great interior
The location of the hotel is pretty good. It is just across the road from a metro station, and is a short (15mins) walk to Grand Place and a couple of museums. But the building itself is rather old, and the room and its fittings are rather dowdy and dingy. The breakfast area, in contrast, is bright and cheerful, and the food is wide-ranging and tasty.

A very nice hotel, however room lacked convenient outletsc for charging electronic devices. Bathroom lacked towel bars for hanging towels after use. Complimentar breakfast was very good and dining area was spacious with view of street below. Front desk attendant nicely helped us get a taxi to train station after Uber failed us. If in Brussels again i woul stay there.

Iconic Hotel in Brussels
Iconic Hotel in Brussels that has been there for many years. You get a decent room in a very good location for the price you pay. Breakfast is also a plus. This has been my go-to hotel in Brussels for many years.

Nothing particularly wrong with this hotel, staff were friendly. Window looked out into internal area with AC units only. Nothing quite worked right in the room, layout was poor. Biggest problem was hotel was at top of a long hill from transportation hubs, big climb. Never knew Brussels had hills until this trip! Didn't help that power was out when we arrived and reservation was not on printed list, made us very nervous. Anyway it was fine, but only fine.

Stay away. Very disappointing.
Stayed on the 8th floor but lift only goes up to 7th. Shower was cold, wouldn’t warm up. Very basic room. Outside of the hotel looks very nice and does receptions, rooms are completely different and disappointing. Thin pillows. I’d stay away.

Small hotel, rooms towards inner yards are quiet even though the hotel is next to very busy road junction. Basic breakfast. Rooms quite old, but serviceable. Tiny, narrow corridors, and a single small elevator (up to 7th floor) make it difficult if you have issues with mobility.

There was a hole underneath the sink on the wall uncovered. The shower is kind of like a cruise one but smaller, I am petite and hit myself taking a shower. I was not even a whole day, I rented the 21 & 22 to checkout on the 23rd and left the 22nd of December at 6am. Explained the FE that because of security strike at airport I was leaving a day ahead, I even call from the plane to let them know I was leaving around 10am, and still I am not being refunded? After I’ve made so many trip arrangements through Expedia? This is bad customer service.

Good enough for a quick business trip
The service was great, and staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and included in the price. But the room could be improved with some attention to small things, like a broken table leg and the safe was also broken. The room just needed a bit more TLC. But otherwise very good stay!

The gentleman at reception was very welcoming & helpful, hotel was clean, breakfast was great. Woukd suggest to move hot food to the other wndcrather then next to coffee machine as will definitely help with bottle neck queue at that end. Location was great close to bus stops, metro, shops, central brussels & all the touredt spots

Don’t stay here!
One of my excursions was canceled prior to my arrival but I didn’t worry because the hotel advertised assistance with this. But when I asked at check in they said they don’t do that. When I asked for a recommendation as to a company or service that could assist, I was told they had no idea how to help me. Shower slide didn’t work properly so there was always water on the floor, and the shower hose didn’t stay up, it kept sliding down. The only lamp in the room didn’t work until I plugged it in, and when I went back To the front desk to ask for hair conditioner and a washcloth they had no idea what I was talking about, even after I acted out what those 2 items did. When I asked for a cab to the airport they called for one, whose credit card machine was broken and he demanded cash, then dropped me off in the parking garage and said his machine really wouldn’t work in there. Overall I felt like they were all in cahoots to make a foreigner feel unwelcome in what should have been a very cosmopolitan city

Horrendous experience - avoid this property (or at the very least room #11). The room was small like a prison cell; it smelled like a public toilet; and did not have any ventilation. It had windows to a dark inner courtyard where you could hear refrigeration/ventilation engines 24/7. You could also hear everything from other rooms (people taking showers, having sex). I tried to get s different room, but the rude staff refused to help. I was given three choices by the inept manager: 1. Leave the hotel without getting a refund. 2. Stay in the room I had already paid €90 (how generous of him). 3. Get another room by paying €50 more. I decided to stay and had an awful night. I had to cover my nose to cope with the public toilet scent of the room. Do avoid this property at all costs.

Dear Mr. Alvaro , We are sorry to hear that your stay did not go well, and that your room was not up to your expectations, usually we accept to change our customers room in a similar category or upgrade to a higher category if the availability allows us, we can also make a change of room if the customer comes back directly after his check-in provided that he is not used his room. In your situation, given that we were fully booked and that the change of room was requested after 15H and that all the maids had already left, we had only one room to offer you and it was the Junior Suite which was on sale at 159€ that day on the website. We apologize for this negative experience and offer you a free upgrade + a Brusseles card valid for 1 Year and 6 Months if you decide to come back to visit us . Kind regards

Great location near the Palace; short walk to everything. Nice clean rooms and a very helpful friendly staff. Hotel had a good breakfast. Problems: Very poor wifi, no in-room coffee, tea or water. Front desk staff said not too drink the tap water so we had to purchase water bottles. In a walkable city like Brussels not having ready access to water / hydration is a pain. The hotel skimps on room amenities. Many three star hotels we've been to in other countries had much better amenities.

Disappointing
It was really bad, the lift didn’t work half the time, the heater wasn’t working well, the shower didn’t have any washing gel, the room didn’t smell good, far from good overall.
