“Good for a one night stay”
The hotel was fine, but basic.
“Ok hotel”
Room was large and quiet but dark. No armchair at desk. Room condition a little shabby in places. But hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.
“Very Poor”
The exterior and interior are shabby. The staff are not particularly friendly or helpful. The furniture was old and worn. The beside lamp had no shade. The TV had no remote control and did not work. The digital decoder for the TV actually had a US power plug, so had clearly never worked in Brussels! The bathroom floor had cracked tiles, ceiling tiles were stained and dirty. The place smelled strongly of air freshener or floral disinfectant, as if try to cover up a worse smell. A glass of wine from the bar, taken to my room asa nightcap, was undrinkable. the "full breakfast" was pretty pathetic. If not for my late night arrival, I would have gone elsewhere. A dreadful place.
“The Louise Experience”
The Hotel is rated as 4-star which is why we selected it, we would rate it two star at the very most! Perhaps its time for a review by the tourist board. The room though was as advertised. We spent five days, four nights in Brussels. Our room and bathroom was only cleaned once (the penultimate day) and the sheets were never changed. The mini-bar had no drinks and was an empty fridge with mould growing inside. The room was quiet but dark because of inadequate lighting, and the bathroom spacious. However, the continental breakfast was small and it's best to get there early (7-10am) as the food quickly disappears and is not readily replaced. Staff very helpful especially the receptionist girl. We arranged our day tours through the hotel. Located close to the metro station and tram network. Would recommend if looking for somewhere cheap that gets you by in a small level of comfort.
“Not Impressed”
Extremely Disatisfied with the hotel in terms of Cleanliness, Service and Noise
“Ideal for short stay”
Stayed here 3 times now and perfect for a few days. Good location away fronm City centre but with Metro and trams a few minutes walk everything accessible. Rooms adequate maybe a bit tired . large bathrooms with everything you need and pretty good breakfast. The staff are friendly and efficient. What more do you need for a couple of days!
“Reasonable hotel in Brussels”
Nice and clean, quite, good service. A bit tricky to find though
“Great value for price”
Small hotel, but very clean. Personal are friendly. Excellent location. Walking distance from metro and tram station. Surrounded by many restaurants and shopping places.
“Not Bad”
A pleasant hotel, with friendly staff, possibly more deserving of 3 stars than 4. Minor gripes include the room safe not working and the receptionist having to come and unlock and relock it every time and a hairdryer that didn't work either. However, we had a large, clean room with a bath as well as a shower(always a plus) and plentiful of hot water.
“this was not a four star hotel”
Both bedroom and bathroom were extremely small, we had to step over the toilet to get in the shower. Lighting was inadequate out of four lamps two were missing globes. TV did not work properly, safe did not work and was not fixed while we were there. Inside the doona there was an old woollen blanket, bedcover old and out of date.
