“Brussels at its Best”
if your looking for a hotel in brussels this is the one & its price just right.
“Citadines - tired but good for iarge parties or families”
We stayed here because it was the only place in Brussels we could find that would allow our family (parents and two children, aged 7 and 9) to stay in one room habitation. There was a bedroom and pull out sofa. The place had definitely seen better days - it was a bit worn out and certainly not luxurious. There was the smell of smoke in the hallway. The front desk personnel were not particularly friendly or helpful. It wasn't the greatest place to stay but due to its location near Metro: Louise and that we could stay in one apartment, we might stay there again.
“Ticks almost all the boxes”
For two a studio here seems a much better option than a hotel. A small room but with bathroom, separate loo and a small kitchen. Everything you could need (including an iron) and comfortable twin beds. The breakfast didn't look that great but as it's extra you don't need to take it. Excellent location. Would definitely recommend.
“Good Place to Stay”
Good location, pleasant apartment, close to metro station, supermarket and restaurants - would use again
“Home from home”
This hotel is very well situated if you want to be within easy walk of most areas but do not want to be in the fray. It's also nice to be able to fix food using the furnished kitchen. There is a good grocery right around the corner as well as many restaurants within a 2 minute walk. The staff is very accommodating and helpful.
“Citadines”
Centrally located with public transport close by.
“hotel or apartment”
I spent 5 days here last week while waiting to get an apartment in Brussels. I found the location excellent - just a few steps from the metro and tram (10 mins max to the centre of town, or easy walking distance), and the staff very very friendly and efficient. The 1-bed apartment was huge and the bathroom and kitchen spotless. The only thing I found was that the living room and bedroom were a bit shabby, and I didn't find the living room too comfortable to sit in to watch TV (on the uncomfortable sofa bed). But apart from that it was perfect for my needs and I would stay again if required.
“Very pleasant and good location”
The hotel was clean and the room was spacious so everything was good there. The location is also good, 3 stops on the metro from Brussels-Zuid (Midi) station and on two trams lines into the central square.
“Comfortable for 4 people”
My brothers and I took our Mum to Brussels for her 60th. We had a 4-person apartment; 2 twin beds and on double sofa bed. It was fine for the 4 of us; cable TV, towels and toiletries, lots of cutlery, a fridge and ice box, a small washing machine, extra chairs and a tabel for eating. It wouldd have been nice to have an extra TV in the bedroom as well as the living room and I think the building has central a/c as there was no controls to make it cooler. The windows are definitely double glazed as it's noisy when you open it for fresh air. Only issue is that there was no slip-mat in the bathroom and the bathub is very slippery after showers, my mum siad she nearly slipped in the bath. I already made a note to metion this in the Apart-hotel's feedback form. Location is actually not bad - 10-15 minute walk to the grand square area and your actually near the park and some other sites worth visiting. Some stains on the double sofa bed but it was actually a good place, for a few days for the money.
“Citadines Apart'hotel Brussels Toison d'Or”
We were very satisfied with this hotel. It is located in a very good, quiet area with lots of nice shops and cafes around. The metro and tram is two minutes away which is ideal when your travelling. The hotel room itself was very clean and comfortable, the only thing that bothered me was the cigarette smell (need to request non-smoking room in advance I guess). If I am ever in Brussels again, I would definitely stay here.
