Just returned from Brussels 2nd time we have stayed at an Adagio apart hotel. Well equipped kitchenette and large drop down bed. Next door to metro station which is then 1 stop to Central train station to airport or just over an hour for a day out to Bruges. A few mins walk brings you to the main square which is beautifully lit for Christmas.
We had a very nice stay at the Lit de Sennett. Fabien is a great host and the place is small and quiet and very close to town. We were able to walk there easily with our bags to & from the train stations and all around town.
Hotel is self service so you have to phone up for a booking code just before arrival - would be better if this could be emailed out with original booking, but the check in process was very easy. Room was very large, bright and comfortable and bed gave a good night's sleep. No bathmat in bathroom - as we were staying only one night this wasn't a problem. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.
Very good location, close to Grand Place and plenty of local restaurants, Nothing unusual about the room, slightly odd design with WC separate from bathroom but not having its own hand basin so you have to go into the bathroom anyway to wash your hands. Good selection for breakfast in restaurant, limited daytime and evening menu.
The central position of the hotel was very good and yet the location was quiet and we slept very well. It is within easy walking distance from Central Station and very near the Metro. Simply but adequately furnished. Room was clean and the shower was hot and efficient. Desk staff were very polite and helpful speaking good English. Overall I would really recommend the hotel and would definitely stay there again if I revisited Brussels.
Asked to change rooms when we discovered the safe did not work. Was not a problem, moved next door. The staff were a credit to themselves and the hotel, friendly and always helpful. Great location, close to the Grand Place. Was surprised we could get a hotel in such a location for such a low cost, making it excellent value for money. Will not be looking anywhere else if we should return to Brussels.
