Room was very clean. Bathroom spacious and very nice with double sinks. Was pleasantly surprised that the room also had a very pretty living room with comfy couch, table, chairs, end table and coffee table. There was also a sink, mini fridge and corner counter to fix coffee or lunch. Decent sized closet and, unheard of, actual central heat and air. Both beds were so comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of coke machines, ice and trash cans. I don't even play golf or tennis. We stayed there for only one night just to shop on St. Simon's and when I was checking out (conveniently over the phone) I wish I had booked it for longer.

Stayed Friday and Saturday night. Ate in the restaurant on-site for breakfast and dinner on Saturday. The area was under renovation and will be complete in March. Even during the renovation the had a good time. Very nice looking facility. Several events were taking place that included a wedding, an "Elvis Concert" and a concert by a band that appealed to high school students. The hotel staff and facility was able to handle all without any interference with our activities.

This hotel is incredible - beautiful, clean, historic - what a unique experience!

Hotel was very nice with very helpful staff. It was very convenient have a restaurant right there in the hotel. The pool was excellent.

The Cloister is an exceptional property that lives up to its reputation.

Hampton is usually a good choice when it comes to hotels, and this one was just that. Friendly staff, quick check in/check out, clean room, and a better than most breakfast. Didn't use the pool or fitness center but both looked well maintained and clean. Hampton's are usually priced at little more than the other hotels in this class, but the extra money is worth it. Would definitely stay here again.

Great view of the pools on the first floor, which was also oceanside. Very very close to the Jekyll Island Convention Center, which is where we were set up as a vendor. The hot water in the bathroom has to run for a few minutes before it gets hot enough, but overall, I give this hotel an 8 out of 10! The free breakfast was amazing. Makeyour own waffles, cold cereal, oatmeal, cheese and egg omelettes. Coffee, milk, and orange juice. Loved it!

Our room was very clean and roomy. It was nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful for getting around the area and places to eat. Only have one recommendation would be extend morning breakfast to 10am. Other than that it was a very nice place to stay definitely will stay on our way back and recommend it.
