“Perfect hotel in a perfect location”

This hotel has a perfect central location. It is as charming as the beautiful city in which it is located. The rooms are very inviting and exceptionally comfortable. I cannot wait to return!

Area recommendations

The center of this city anywhere around the market square is most charming. The area where this hotel is I found to be my favorite. The climb to the top of the bell tower is a must if you are able physically.

Must see

Bell Tower is a must for the amazing views. The canal boat tour is a must also. It is a great way to see parts of the city you may not walk to.

Dining

Our Hotel sent us to their "sister" restaurant. It was exceptional! The profiterole desert is one of the best i have ever had. They make their own chocolate which was delicious.

“Cozy hotel in a perfect location”

“Great choice”

The hotel could not be nicer. Original artwork in the lobby. The staff was outstanding - they even got up early and served us coffee since we were leaving at 6:15a! The location is fantastic - close to all the tourist sites. Charming and large rooms. Highly recommend!

“Disappointing”

The hotel itself was beautiful, although I was disappointed by the lack of facilities but I can understand that the hotel itself must be fairly compact due to location. I was very disappointed by the room as it was on the ground floor, next to the lift with a small window overlooking a fire escape. I asked to move to a room with a window but they were unable to accommodate this. Vlue for money wise, this is poor but I accept that all Bruge hotels are generally very expensive.

“Beautiful hotel in lovely location”

We were delighted with this hotel and pleasantly surprised by how nice the standard double rooms are. Due to the sloping ceiling the bathroom had a bath but no shower, however there was a shower nozzle in the bath. The staff on reception were extremely warm, friendly and helpful. Everyone bent over backwards to make our stay pleasant.

“Honeymoon BLiss”

From the location(which was prevelent in many many postcards of Bruges), to the cleanliness, to the staff (which was impeccible), this hotel experience was quite frankly the best hotel experience I have ever had. And I believe I had one of the cheaper rooms to boot. Highly recommended.

Traveller's tip

Take the time to go south in the city to the Brugse ZOT brewery and Minnewater area. Its about a 10 minute walk. I also recommend being adventurous and utilizing the Bruges train station for atleast one day trip. Try Ghent, or Poperinge, or Liege. These day trips, and the ensuing adventure that comes with it, are the little things you tend to remember. Make Bruges your home base. Stay in Brussels the final day, as your return flight will most likely go through Brussels.

“Romantic and Fab views”

We had a superior classic with canal views and the room was very comfortable. Bit disappointed that there was no tea/coffee available unless by roomservice and only at certain times and very costly. Ideally situated and attentive service - I would go back but would chose a less expensive room as we weren't in there much at all.

“fantastic hotel,with high standards”

Not many hotels live up to there ratings, yet this is a true gem, attention to detail is the key, and totally dedicated staff, who make your stay so comfortable, location is second to none, we had the cheapest room and had no complaints, yes you can stay in bigger hotels with more facilities but, you won't stay in many better hotels in a city than this, i've gave this hotel 5 out of 5 on all scores basically because i can't find any faults.

Traveller's tip

Don;t eat in the main square, great location but very average food, walk around see who is busy, we ate at a fortis hotel out of the main tourist square, can't remember the name but the food was excellent.
