“Nice hotel, wrong part of town for tourists”

A pleasant hotel in a nice area, but it is too far from the main points of interest in the city. I made the mistake of not checking the location on a map and had relied on the published description. The breads provided at breakfast were a high point. Most guests were British and came with coach groups. Otherwise it would have been almost empty. A TV on the wall in the bedroom had to be dodged by my head, once I had banged it three times. We like Bruges or I should say Brugge as the locals do.

“Hotel Olympia - a wonderful welcoming hotel”

What a wonderful welcoming hotel. The staff could not have done more for us. Having stayed there previously I was more than willing to go back to the Hotel Olympia and was pleased that my seceond visit was even more pleasant. We were greeted immediately with a warm welcome and given a discount for the local attractions. Over the period of our stay they were happy to provide information on places we wanted to visit, travel advice and the all important beer review. In the evening they even gave us an inpromtue lesson in Dutch which was hillarious, don't worry the staff all speak excellent English. The hotel itself was comfortable and clean and very good value indeed. We chose the hotel from previous experience, the closeness to the train station and the quietness of the location. Although convenient for the train station this does mean there is a 20 walk involved in getting to the centre of town (although there is a bus stop right outside the hotel for those who are not so energetic). The only fault I could possibly place on the hotel is that during our stay the air conditioning was not working. The hotel also does not have a restaurant, but then again if you can not find a ggood restaurant in Bruges then there is something wrong with you.

“A very sweet and clean hotel, would defiantly recommend”

My trip to Bruges was very nice, the hotel we stayed in was about a 10 minute walk to the centre and only a 5 minute cab ride to the train station. The hotel was small and clean and worth the money, would recommend staying there if would like a cheap break away.

“Good quiet place to stay”

The Olympia is not in the center of Bruges but is quite convenient to town. It's quiet, within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants. The room was very good and the buffet breakfast was excellent.

Easy walking distance to town center. Hotel staff is very nice and very helpful. Breakfast was good. The only negatives I can say are: hotel is a little bit old and the parking was street parking, which while plentiful, was not immediate to the hotel.

“Bruges. A quiet convenient hotel”

This has been our 3rd visit to the Olympia, during the past seven years, and it is consistently suitable. It is just approaching the need of a "makeover", the staff are always friendly and helpful. It is a greater distance to the City centre than advertised, but not to difficult. The main advantage of the Olympia is the parking facility, in a nice quiet area of the City.

Hotel war gut zufinden.Lag in nähe von Sehenswürdikeiten.Auch unser Vierbeiner war zufrieden.Hier wegen Preis direkt sich ans Hotel wenden.Unsre Anreise war mit PKW.EWinige Meter vom Hotel konten wir unsren PKW Abstellen.Da alles in der Nähe lag blieb dieser stehen.

Hotel is wat ouderwets ingericht. Verder alles ok. Goed ontbijt, nette bar, goede ontvangst. Rustige buurt.
