“Will be back”
Loved everything about it. Immaculate room. Comfortable bed, centrally located but yet still quiet outside so sleeping was easy, excellent breakfast!
“Nice hotel, odd room”
We booked a room for 2 at the Best Western Premier Hotel Navarra on Expedia with a rate that included breakfast which turned out to be very good. The hotel is well located and all of Bruges's attractions are within walking distance. Check-in was efficient, the receptionist was helpful enough and the hotel had the charm of an older building but our room (#090) was located below street level so the view from the window was to a brick wall and there was a lack of natural light. We also noticed a set of earplugs on each nightstand. In the morning we found out why they were there. Room 090 is next to the kitchen and the sound of a commercial kitchen can clearly be heard from within the room. It's a bit surprising that a 4 star hotel would use that space for customers. It seems more like a room that would be reserved for staff being that the room is a bit difficult to reach, the lack of light and the noise issues. I would only recommend this hotel for people who are sure they will be on a higher floor. Luckily, we only planned to be in the Navarra for 1 night, we spent the next 2 nights of our stay in another hotel.
“Excellent hotel in ideal location.”
The hotel is in an ideal location being approx 400 mtrs from the main square. The hotel was excellent - the rooms were well appointed with good bathroom facilities. The breakfast, which was included in the rate, was also first class with both hot and cold buffet. My only problem was with the hotel WIFI system. I had to repeatedly ask for a new user ID each day as the system seemed to have problems logging you off daily. Still reception were very helpful and managed to sort out each day
“Wonderful stay”
The hotel was in a great location close to market square. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the free wifi was great. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
“Not impressed”
We were housed in the annex and although the rest of the hotel looks lovely the annex is dark and dingy. The window in our room was very high and heavily netted so very little light came in. No iron and ironing board. Poor content of minibar
“This is one romantic town!”
My husband and I enjoyed a two day stay in Bruges. It is a romantic and beautiful place. The hotel was right off the main square and central to all walking around this gem of a town. We were able to get around on foot and see everything. Being centrally located, we could pop into the hotel during the day as needed. The staff was friendly and helpful and we would happily return to this charming location. The town is little changed in the last 500 years and was not bombed during WWII so it is fascinating to see the old world buildings and canals. Enjoy! We did.
“Class of its own”
After deciding to take my girlfriend there for a couple of days away, first impressions were very good. We found the hotel easily and parked outside the front. Reception area was very well presented and even though we arrived quite early, the staff were very helpful and we were in our room within minutes. Rooms are comfy with everything you need and it just seemed better quality than other 4 star hotels we had stayed in the past. This was probably due to the numerous little touches which give the hotel some class. The swimming pool and sauna area had a nice feel to it and the buffet breakfast in the morning was of a very good standard with plenty of choice. The central square is also only a 2 minute walk down the road so the location was perfect.
“One of the best!”
Getting around the hotel is a little tricky if you have large suitcases; there are many stairs to negotiate and the lifts are a little small. However, an excellent hotel, with a great selection for breakfast. A shame they do not do evening meals; it would be good to crash out and dine there after a day's busy sightseeing, but otherwise can't fault it! Good value for money, excellent location.
“Flanders Hospitality At It's Best”
Great hotel in fantastic location. Staff speak excellent English and are very helpful. Decent sized rooms and very nice bathrooms. Good swimming pool too. Will definitely use this hotel on next visit
“Wonderful hotel”
Picked this hotel on current reviews and was not disappointed. Great location 2 minutes from main square, lovely building, friendly staff.Extremely comfortabel rooms with modern bathrooms and high ceilings. Quite expensive but hey you only live once.
