Pros: Wunderbarer Ausblick aus dem Frühstücksraum.
Cons: Frühstück könnte etwas reichhaltiger sein. Auf Nachfrage wurde nachgefüllt.
Location: Hotel liegt mitten in Brügge, günstige Parkgelegenheit in öffentlicher Tiefgarage Pandreitje ca. 200m entfernt.
Sehr freundliches Personal. Ein W-LAN-Problem wurden umgehend behoben.

Basic hotel op een uitstekende locatie

Posted 12-Jun-2015
Pros: Locatie!
Bed was vrij hard.

Small well located hotel in centre of Bruges

Posted 27-May-2015
Pros: Very friendly and accommodating; good continental breakfast.
Cons: No stand-up shower in room 320 but for 4 days not a major problem.
Location: Boat rides from nearby on the canal are inexpensive at €8 each, last 30 minutes with multi-lingual informative drivers and well worth it.
Located just south of the Markt (200m) and therefore close to all the attractions within Bruges. Beautiful view from the hotel room window which overlooked the canal (Room 321 looked the best). Appears in the most popular photo of Bruges. No escape from the church bells though they weren't that intrusive but do go off every 15 mins. Don't worry when you look at the map (free from hotels) nothing is very far away from wherever you are.

Great position, but that's about it.

Pros: The staff were pleasant although no help was offered with our bags when we arrived. Breakfast was OK - it was lovely to sit and look at the canal view
Cons: Our whole bedroom! Allow guests access to the dining room during the day to enjoy the hotel's best feature.
Location: Great location right in the centre of Bruges. Boat trips, walking tours and museums all within easy walking distance.
Admittedly, we had only booked a "budget" room, but I don't see this as a reason for the furnishings to be so tatty, chipped and generally falling to bits. The bed was very old and uncomfortable, sloping away from the centre on both sides. The bathroom had a glass window right next to the shower (attachment - not a proper shower) so everyone looking from outside could watch as there was no curtain or blind. The window frame was rotten with peeling paint and mould. There was plenty of hot water though, and if one had the patience to stand under the shower attachment with it's dribble of water, you could have a hot shower. We had baths as it was easier. The worst thing in my view was the glass door between the bedroom and bathroom with the loo right next to it. Not pleasant when the other person has to use the loo (unless you're a voyeur) The room was quiet (apart from being next to the lift) but no traffic or other hotel noise. The redeeming feature of this run-down hotel is the beautiful canal views from the dining room. However, once breakfast was finished, the room was sectioned off and was not able to be used until breakfast again next day. There was no other lounge area and it was far too cold when we were there to sit outside at the tables. All in all, a great shame as the hotel has a wealth of character and could be so much better. Very, very disappointing. We shall not be back.

Fantastic room right on the canal.

Posted 22-May-2015
Pros: The view over the canal.
Cons: Patchy wi fi connection.
Location: Great location close to main squares.
The room was large and had had a lot of character. Each morning and evening a swan would greet us at our window which overlooked a canal. The hotel was very central to many of the main tourist attractions.

Lovely clean hotel in great location to experience Bruges. Car park just 5 minutes walk and only €8 for 24hrs. Clean and comfortable room overlooking the canal which was just beautiful. Friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast.

You can walk to almost any attractions. During sightseeing, if you are tired, you can go to the hotel and take rest. The staff was very helpful.
