Perfect location

Posted 28-Feb-2015
Pros: This hotel is a 2 minute walk from the centre of Bruge, on a quiet street. Very good breakfast and friendly staff.
Cons: not sure why we had single duvets on a double bed? and I've never seen a fatter pillow, I had to give up and go without as it was giving me neck pain.
Location: Walk around and discover
Overall a lovely hotel and I would reccomend it. This hotel is a 2 minute walk from the centre of Bruge, on a quiet street. Very good breakfast and friendly staff.

Great hotel and a great location.

Posted 23-Feb-2015
Pros: Staff and the grand feel.
I wanted a relaxing stay with a nice atmosphere. This hotel made it possible with pleasant staff who all seem to speak any language that is thrown at them. It's in a great location and the price was exceptional. I'll be going back.

Great Hotel, near to great restaurants, and square

Posted 21-Feb-2015
Pros: The Staff, the hotel, especially Femka. If she was in London I would definately offer her a Job at My business if I had a job going.
Room was lovely, bed comfortable, breakfast was fantastic, one minor downfall was the safe in the room was not attached to anything so you could easily walk off with it in a small suitcase, so you can not really call it a safe, it was a mobile safe if that's what you like! I raised this with Femka on reception who was getting it sorted out, she was amazing, before we got to the hotel and while we stayed, she went out of her way to help us on every matter from directions and restaurants before arriving, during and departure. Thankyou Femka you are a real asset to the Hotel, I hope they see your dedication and making of that great hotel, we will definately be back soon to stay with you again.

Classy hotel...

Posted 21-Feb-2015
Pros: The hotel staff are helpful and very accommodating...
Cons: Maybe they should improve on the smell inside the hotel and inside the rooms.
Location: It is near the market where all shops and resto can be found.
A classy hotel with a spacious room , although the bed given to us was not king size but very comfortable. The bath tub was so big and very nice bathroom. The location is near the market where all the shops and resto could be found. Although I book a room facing the canal, the one given to us was facing the restaurant, but overall it was a fantastic stay...

Great location and breakfast!

Posted 19-Feb-2015
Pros: Most everything. Impressed.
Cons: Knowledge of front desk staff. See my recommendation in the experience section.
Breakfast staff was very good. Location perfect. Good size room and clean. Front desk staff was a bit cold and limited help with questions. Not terrible, just didn't have a lot of answers. Would suggest a concierge staff.

close to everything

Pros: relaxed and very comfortable
Cons: nothing
Location: everything on your doorstep
we stopped here for one night on the way to see friends in Brussels. We are a family of 5 and stayed in the family room with a pull out bed. Our room was in the old part of the hotel and was really lovely and comfortable, our kids would have liked to stay. Very impressed.

Fantastic! (and I'm picky)

Posted 18-Feb-2015
Pros: The beds....wow they were comfortable. So much so its been hard to get a good nights sleep at home. The location and the cleanliness also.
Cons: The view. I know if I had booked earlier I could have had a different room, and one with a view, but it is the only thing I could think of.
Location: Just the whole city! I highly recommend either a boat tour or horse and carriage ride. The Bar de Amis near the market square was fantastic...but busy
My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights for Valentines and thought the hotel was great. I've stayed around the world in many hotels and this was one of my favourite. Very central to everything in Bruges and a great base for being a tourist. The rooms (the whole place really) was kept extremely clean. The staff were all courteous, polite and helpful. The Bar was like sitting in a stately home, so when drinking Belgium beer next to the fire...well lets just say it was hard to get away from. But the creme de la creme were the beds! They were great. I'm normally a "get up and go" person in the morning, but it was a struggle at this hotel.
