this was a brilliant hotel. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable of brugges it was a pleasure. They're advise was brilliant. They're advise on car parking was fantastic. The English breakfast and breakfast overall set us up for the day. I would really , really would go go back to this beautiful hotel
We stayed at the hotel for a half-term break and really enjoyed it. Two adults and 2 children 11&7 yrs. We booked a junior suite and parking and had a smooth check in and stay. Very central and could easily walk to top attractions and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful booking both our evening meals at top restaurants and we we not left disappointed. Although a bit pricey the hotel was itself a historical attraction with a lovely bar and lounge area in the 18th century reception rooms of a stately home. The suite on the top floor had lovely views out over the nearby streets and was very well appointed. We recommend this hotel would love to go back again one day.
"Would recommend it to anyone who enjoys peace and quiet, elegance and comfort"
Do not be discouraged by the fact that this place was built in the 1500's. It has been remodeled to look like something out of an interior design magazine. Each room has it's own character and personality and is very comfortable. HIGHLY recommend it!

Comfortable and family friendly.
Got breakfast included in room price which was amazing especially for the children as they could as much of what they wanted.
Just wish there was a divider or something in the room to separate children's beds from ours whilst they were getting to sleep. Luckily there is a decent lobby to the room which we sat in!
Otherwise everything was excellent - couldn't fault it.
Our stay in Brugge, Belgium
much easier because of the fabulous service and care we received at the Brugotel! When we arrived we asked questions about all of the things to do in Brugge, Belgium, and the staff were always anxious to answer anything. It was wonderful! They were friendly and knowledgeable about everything!
When we had any issues they were resolved immediately, and the breakfast buffet was absolutely marvelous. They were always ready earlier than the 8:00 listed time and were most gracious about everything. It was super clean and very comfortable. It was great!
They were not located in the inner-city area of Brugge, but in the outer ring of housing, which really works well. Bicycling and walking are transportation
realities since there are great bike paths and the sights even walking down the sidewalks are great!
They were a great hotel at a fantastic price! My wife and I would stay there again in a heartbeat!
The whole time was just so relaxed from the staff to the journey, Dukes Palace was a great Hotel to stay every instuction I e.mailed to the staff was adheard to plus more. Brugge is a lovely town a nice romantic setting my wife thourghly enjoyed people so friendly restaurants just great the whole time was an experience we will never forget thank you.
Really nice hitel, just a few hundred metres from Markt Square and round the corner from lots of restaurants.
All city attractions within walking distance.
One gripe is that there is limited parking space, that you need to book with the room, and it costs €15 a night to park.
No kettle in the room, so you have to get up and dressed in the morning before getting a cuppa!
Otherwise a really nice hotel.
